Yet another wide receiver will make the trip for a pre-draft visit with the New Orleans Saints. NFL Network’s Ian Rapoport reports that Indiana Hoosiers wide receiver Omar Cooper Jr. is one of 30 players who will formally visit team decisionmakers at their headquarters in Metairie. And he won’t be alone. Georgia State wide receiver Ted Hurst will also be touring the facility and sitting down with coaches on Saturday’s visit. Hurst’s visit was previously reported, but now we know when it’ll be happening.

MINNEAPOLIS — Detroit Tigers center fielder Parker Meadows was sent to a hospital for overnight observation after he collided head-to-head with teammate Riley Greene as they converged for a fly ball.
Greene made the catch, and Meadows landed on his back in a daze, barely moving with his hands pointed up and blood appearing on his face. After a few minutes, Meadows was able to sit up. Medical personnel slowly helped him stand and move toward a cart that was waiting to take him away.

Spring style is on show as the second day of racing is set to get under way [PA Media]
This year’s annual Ladies Day at Aintree Racecourse is under way, with the biggest crowd in almost 15 years expected.
Thousands have headed to Merseyside for a day of fashion, entertainment and, of course, horseracing.
Doors opened at 10:30 BST and racing began at 13:45.
Ladies Day takes place on the second day of the racecourse’s world famous Randox Grand National Festival.

Carlos Alcaraz has put together a solid start to his title defence at the Monte-Carlo Masters, where he’s won his opening two matches against Sebastian Baez and Tomas Martin Etcheverry. Next up for him is a third-round clash with Alexander Bublik.
The Spaniard has some extra motivation this week, too. He’s aiming to add a ninth Masters 1000 title and a 27th ATP tour-level crown to his collection. After crashing out early in Miami, he’s also got the top ranking in his sights, with Jannik Sinner closing in fast.

Lucknow Super Giants won the last-ball thriller against Kolkata Knight Riders on Thursday, debutant Mukul Choudhary pulled the chase single-handedly. Despite LSG’s win, former India cricketer Mohammed Kaif has criticised Rishabh Pant, stating that the skipper must improve his game awareness and take greater responsibility.
Pant endured another underwhelming outing, scoring just 10 runs, as LSG’s top order struggled. However, the team managed to pull off a thrilling three-wicket victory in Kolkata.
