Tyson Foerster scored the only goal in the shootout to send the Philadelphia Flyers to a 3-2 win over the Eastern Conference top seed Carolina Hurricanes on Monday night and into the playoffs for the first time since 2020.

Giovana Canalli is back with Brazil’s Under-20 National Team, and this moment carries special meaning. It marks the beginning of an important new chapter in her career after tearing a knee ligament in February of last year.

The Las Vegas Aces have made moves to continue bolstering their frontcourt.
During Monday’s WNBA Draft, the Aces selected Tennessee power forward Janiah Barker with the 29th overall pick and Kentucky guard Jordan Obi with the 44th overall pick.
Prior to heading to Tennessee, Barker spent two seasons at Texas A&M (2022-24) and one at UCLA (2024-25). Known for her smooth shooting ability, Barker averaged 11.
A scary scene unfolded at Camden Yards Monday night when Baltimore Orioles manager Craig Albernaz was struck in the face by a line-drive foul ball.
Albernaz left the dugout to receive medical attention, but was able to return later in the game. The details of his condition weren’t immediately clear, but he was able to finish managing the game until it concluded.
