Why start doubting Bob Chesney now? Since arriving for the lowly UCLA Bruins football program, Chesney has directed an 180 turnaround in vibes and positive energy. Chesney has already overturned the roster, with over three dozen transfers and currently owning a top-five 2027 recruiting class.
If Chesney can do all of that, then why can’t he turn Nico Iamaleava into a Heisman Trophy-level quarterback? Mirjam Swanson made that case for the Los Angeles Times on Friday.
There were some games last season where Iamaleava looked like a star.

Mumbai Indians etched their name in cricket history on May 2, 2026, becoming the first team ever to surpass the 50,000-run mark in T20 cricket. The milestone was achieved during their IPL 2026 clash against Chennai Super Kings at the M. A. Chidambaram Stadium. Entering the match needing 114 runs to reach the landmark, MI crossed the historic threshold in the 15th over of their innings.
Interestingly, the record came in a game where Mumbai posted a below-par total, but the significance of the achievement overshadowed the result.
The Green Bay Packers selected Alabama cornerback Domani Jackson in the sixth round (No. 201 overall) of the 2026 NFL draft.
