IntroWelcome to Week 4 of the fantasy football season. Before we take a look at the running back rankings, let’s see how standard scoring running backs fared in Week 3. Mr. Jonathon Taylor was both your PPR and standard RB1 with three rushing touchdowns. The Vikings Jordan Mason was all about the non-PPR, as he didn’t even see a pass in the Vikings rout of the Bengals. He did top 100 yards and had two rushing touchdowns to leapfrog Jahmyr Gibbs, who was ahead of him in PPR scoring.

We’re already to Week 4 of the fantasy football season. Doesn’t sound true, but it is true! Last week gave us a huge game from rushing leader Jonathan Taylor, who hit 118 total yards and three touchdowns as the Colts continue their winning ways. The next two fantasy backs were both Lions, as David Montgomery and Jahmyr Gibbs went scorched earth on the Ravens. And fourth and fifth in PPR scoring went to the rookies Omarion Hampton and Cam Skattebo. Always good to get some new blood in there, while both rookies’ backups went down with injuries.
