Real Madrid has not given up on the 2024 Ballon d’Or. The Spanish club is reportedly preparing an offer for Rodri, Manchester City’s midfield maestro, according to the Daily Star.
The 29-year-old Spanish midfielder, crowned the world’s best player in 2024, is back in action after a serious knee injury cut his season short. He has already featured in four Premier League matches for Manchester City this season.

Former NFL quarterback Mark Sanchez is in a stable condition in hospital after being stabbed during a fight in Indianapolis on Saturday, and was arrested for his part in the altercation.
Indianapolis police charged him with battery with injury, unlawful entry of a motor vehicle and public intoxication.
The 38-year-old, who currently works as an analyst for Fox Sports, was in Indianapolis to cover Sunday’s game between the Indianapolis Colts and the Las Vegas Raiders.

Born in Coleraine, Willie joined us from Linfield and made 386 club appearances between 1966 and 1975, as well as earning six international caps for Northern Ireland.
