This just in on a Friday, as the Los Angeles Rams will be starting Harrison Mevis (The Thiccer Kicker) over second year player Joshua Karty on Sunday in a massive game against the San Francisco 49ers. You can see the tweet from Adam Schefter below.

The Rams kicker Sunday vs. the 49ers will be Harrison Mevis. Joshua Karty has been the Rams kicker but he has missed more field goal and extra point attempts this season than any kicker in the league.

Karty was 10-15 on field goals this season and 23-26 on extra points.

The Chicago Bears are gearing up for their Week 10 game against the New York Giants on Sunday, where Chicago is looking to win their sixth game in the last seven.
The Bears conducted their final practice of the week, where there was some good and bad news. Linebacker T.J. Edwards has been ruled out of Sunday’s game as he deals with a hamstring injury. He also had surgery on a broken hand, but that’s not what’s holding him out.

Last month, the NBA was rocked by a widespread betting investigation. Dozens of individuals with ties to the league, including a current head coach, were arrested on Oct. 23.
At the time, the probe was not believed to have involved college basketball players. However, federal investigators led by the U.S. Attorney’s Office for the Eastern District of Pennsylvania and NCAA officials later confirmed that an investigation had been opened to examine potential gambling violations at the Division I level of college basketball.

Friday brought some good news for the Green Bay Packers at the wide receiver position. Dontayvion Wicks practiced for the second straight day, while rookie Savion Williams returned to practice after missing Thursday’s session with a new foot injury. First-round pick Matthew Golden was also able to practice for the second straight day after injuring his shoulder during last Sunday’s loss.
Wicks has missed two straight games with a calf injury.
