Will Reichard’s first field goal miss of the season missed badly. There appears to a good reason why.
The Vikings kicker attempted a 51-yard field goal against the Browns late in Sunday’s game in London. The ball appeared to be headed toward the uprights, then took a right turn and missed very wide.
Cleveland’s special teams unit appeared to get an assist from the equipment at Tottenham Hotspur Stadium. It wasn’t obvious in real time. But slow motion replay appears to show that the ball hit a camera cable on the way up before veering off to the right.

Week 6 is in the books, and what looked like it was not going to be a very exciting week of college football proved to be anything but that. The premiere matchup of the night had #3 Miami visiting #18 Florida State. Despite a late comeback by the Seminoles, the Hurricanes proved to be the more dominant team as they walked away with a 28-22 win. Take a bow, Kellen Moore. Or at least take this game ball Alvin Kamara’s been saving for you. The rookie New Orleans Saints head coach got to deliver his first postgame speech to a victorious locker room after the Saints demolished the New York Giants on Sunday, beating them 26-14; it would’ve been a bigger blowout if Blake Grupe hadn’t missed a couple of field goals over the course of the game. But Moore used this time to shout out the day’s top performers and award a couple of game balls to Kool-Aid McKinstry and Spencer Rattler.

Steven Fisk posted an 8-under 64 on Sunday at The Country Club of Jackson in Jackson, Mississippi to win the Sanderson Farms Championship.
Fisk birdied the final three holes to edge 54-hole leader Garrick Higgo of South Africa by two shots and card a 72-hole total of 24-under 264.

Fisk, 28, hugged his wife, who leaped into his arms on the 18th green, as they both shed tears for his first PGA Tour title.

The Washington Commanders are tied 10-10 with the Los Angeles Chargers at halftime on the road in Jayden Daniels’ first game back after missing Weeks 3 and 4.
It might take Daniels some time to adjust after being sidelined for the past two weeks, and that has been made clear after the Commanders‘ first-half offensive performance.
However, there have still been positive signs, like the Commanders’ eight-play, two-minute drill 82-yard drive to end the first half with a field goal, tying the game at 10-10.
