We all know the saying, “Don’t poke the bear.” In sports contexts, it implies not taunting or trash-talking a superstar who can make your lives miserable all by himself.
Jerry Jones ignored that age-tested wisdom to poke the worst bear possible: Micah Parsons.
The Dallas Cowboys and Green Bay Packers face off on Sunday night for the first time since Jones traded the superstar pass rusher just weeks before the season began. So far, Parsons has been the force he’s always been, making an already formidable Green Bay defensive line all the more tenacious and nasty.
Tommy Fleetwood, Rory McIlroy and Jon Rahm didn’t lose a match in the first two sessions Friday, while Scottie Scheffler and Bryson DeChambeau failed to earn a point, allowing the Europeans to take a 5.5-2.5 lead on the U.S. at the Ryder Cup.

CAMDEN, N.J. — The Philadelphia 76ers are in the process of trying to come up with the right deal to bring back Quentin Grimes in restricted free agency. The Sixers are currently short-handed as they deal with the Jared McCain injury, and need to find a way to bring back Grimes.
One way to do so is to shed some salary and one name that has popped up in trade rumors for the Sixers is the reliable Kelly Oubre Jr. The versatile forward has a tradeable salary and his game is attractive for a lot of teams as he is reliable on the floor as well as being a good leader in the locker room.
Sunday figures to be a special day at the ballpark during what’s been a dark season for the Atlanta Braves so far. Charlie Morton will open things up for the Braves to begin Sunday’s season finale but they’ve still got a bit of work to do in order to make that happen. In the meantime, they’ve decided to do a bit of roster maneuvering involving two of their top young arms.
According to a report from David O’Brien of The Athletic, the Braves will be sending Hurston Waldrep back down to Triple-A and calling up Hayden Harris in response.
