Colorado coach Deion Sanders wishes his team put Wyoming away earlier than it did.
The Buffaloes had a 21-3 lead at halftime in their 37-20 victory over the Cowboys late Saturday night. Wyoming cut Colorado’s lead to 10 points with 4:32 to go before QB Kaidon Salter broke a 35-yard TD run with 1:46 remaining to quash any hopes of a late comeback.
