LOS ANGELES (AP) — Raja Jackson, the son of former UFC champion Quinton “Rampage” Jackson, pleaded not guilty on Thursday to two criminal charges after he was seen on video attacking a pro wrestler in a fight that was supposed to be scripted.
A livestream showed Raja Jackson, 25, going after Stuart Smith, also known as “Syko Stu,” during an event on Aug. 23 at a wrestling academy in Los Angeles. Raja Jackson entered the ring in street clothes, slammed Smith to the floor and punched him repeatedly until he was unconscious.

Philadelphia will be without All-Pro defensive tackle Jalen Carter for the second time this season after he was listed as inactive ahead of the Thursday night matchup against the Giants. On Wednesday, the Eagles released their final injury report for this week, and Carter and Nakobe Dean were among the two Eagles players who were questionable for Thursday night against the Giants on Amazon Prime. Pro Bowl left guard Landon Dickerson has been ruled out for Week 6, along with backup tight end Grant Calcaterra.

As the news of ESPN and SEC personality Paul Finebaum’s potential candidacy for senate continues to travel, many on both sides of the aisle have decided to weigh in on his announcement.
One such voice in favor of Finebaum’s run is former Auburn head coach and current United States senator, Tommy Tuberville.
Tuberville was on the Clay Travis and Buck Sexton Show on Thursday to weigh in on what a winning strategy would be for Finebaum in a state he knows all too well.
“I’ve been friends with Paul for 30 years,” Tuberville stated.
