After losing 108-90 in Game 1 of the Western Conference semifinals to the Oklahoma City Thunder on Tuesday, the Los Angeles Lakers will play Game 2 of the series on Thursday at Paycom Center. While it isn’t a must-win game for them, they may need to win this contest in order to have a realistic chance of winning the series or even making it competitive.
Coming into Thursday, it looked like the Lakers could be very short-handed for Game 2.

Neil Stratton of ScoutSpeak tweeted that the San Francisco 49ers are losing area scout Ryan Kessenich to the Washington Commanders, where Kessenich will serve as their Director of Scouting.
Kessenich has been in the NFL for over two decades. He joins Adam Peters in a place where Kessenich’s scouting career began.

Emery on celebrating with Prince William and the importance of Villa Park after reaching Europa League final
Unai Emery revealed that Prince William celebrated Aston Villa’s Europa League semi-final win with the players in the dressing room.
After coming into the second leg of the tie 1-0 down, goals from Ollie Watkins, Emiliano Buendia and two from captain John McGinn turned the tie on its head.
Emery spoke about his side’s celebrations after a historic night for the football club.

Pereira reveals quadruple Nottingham Forest injury blow after Europa League exit
Nottingham Forest boss Vitor Pereira has revealed that Morgan Gibbs-White, Murillo, Ibrahim Sangare and Dan Ndoye all remain injured.
All four players were named on the bench this evening as Forest’s European dreams came to a crushing end. Despite this, Pereira has since admitted that none of them were fit to play.
