A Buffalo artist found a creative way to express the disappointment of Bills Mafia with a horse collar tackle of Josh Allen that was not penalized during the team’s Week 12 loss to the Eagles. New York caricature artist Eric Jones posted the amusing sculpture on his Facebook account on Thursday.

“The MAFIA was nestled all snug in their beds, while visions of penalty flags danced in their heads,” Jones wrote in his Facebook post, offering Bills fans the opportunity to come “throw a penalty flag” where the Allen sculpture is in Buffalo.
Now that is how you protest a penalty.

Near the end of his press conference this week, Iowa coach Kirk Ferentz dropped this thought: “If we would win, that would really screw things up, I’m guessing. Might be kind of funny, actually.”
Oh, it would screw things up. If the three-touchdown underdog Hawkeyes defeat No. 2 Michigan on Saturday night for the Big Ten championship, it would throw the College Football Playoff selections into tumult. It would almost certainly eject their own league from the four-team bracket.

Williams announced Friday that the American driver will be back for the 2024 campaign
The one remaining question for the 2024 Formula 1 season has now been answered.
Logan Sargeant will be back at Williams for next year.
As the 2023 F1 season wound down, just one spot on the grid remained for the 2024 campaign: The second seat at Williams alongside Alexander Albon. Sargeant, a rookie for the 2023 season driving on a one-year contract, had yet to be given that spot for the 2024 season.

Bears cornerback Jaylon Johnson may have had the raunchiest NFL celebration of the year in Week 12. The only thing is, not many people saw it.
During Chicago’s 12–10 win over Minnesota on Monday Night Football, Johnson picked off Vikings quarterback Josh Dobbs in the second quarter and returned the ball for 19 yards.
Following his game-changing third interception of the season, Johnson ran into the end zone and mimicked Randy Moss’s infamous mooning celebration.

The Jon Rahm to LIV Golf rumors are nothing new. They’ve popped up at random points even before the Saudi-backed circuit’s first event in June 2022, but they’ve ramped up rapidly over the last two weeks.
To be clear, at this point in time, the rumors are nothing but that, just rumors.
The couple of sources I’ve spoken to about them suggested there is a fire so to speak with the rumors, but how big that fire is remains to be seen.

Here’s what we actually know about Corey Perry’s release from the Blackhawks
Corey Perry was never a missing piece to the puzzle, but rather a foreman to supervise the Blackhawks trying to build a better future. The 38-year-old wing was in the tail-end of his career, and was acquired predominantly to be a veteran presence in the locker room and help nurture phenom Connor Bedard.

NFL fans were annoyed by the number of penalties called during the Seahawks–Cowboys game on Thursday night.
But they weren’t the only ones.
Longtime announcer and current Amazon Prime commentator Al Michaels had seen enough of the yellow flags—there were 25 called penalties and 257 total penalty yards—by the time the third quarter rolled around. Dripping with sarcasm, Michaels offered to let crew chief and NFL referee Clete Blakeman call the rest of the game.

The New England Patriots are so bad, Amazon Prime couldn’t pick a player from its roster to use in a promotion for their game next week.
During last night’s Dallas Cowboys-Seattle Seahawks matchup, Amazon Prime displayed a graphic promoting next week’s Thursday Night Football game between the Patriots and Pittsburgh Steelers. Normally, advertisers want to choose a recognizable player to convince people to tune in to the game. That’s why they chose T.J. Watt for the Steelers, one of the best edge rushers in the league.
