Cowboys rookie running back Deuce Vaughn was arguably the most talked about Dallas player after the team’s 28–23 loss to the Jaguars in the preseason on Saturday.
Vaughn, who was selected in the sixth round of this year’s draft, finished with eight carries for 50 yards and a touchdown on Saturday. Fans were quickly impressed by Vaughn’s footwork and offensive skills.

The Kansas City Chiefs officially began their Super Bowl defense on Sunday afternoon with a preseason tilt against the New Orleans Saints. Patrick Mahomes started the contest, but played just one series. Blaine Gabbert relieved Mahomes and later Shane Buechele took over for Gabbert.
Mahomes played the first series of the game, completing both of his pass attempts for a total of 15 yards to running back Clyde-Edwards Helaire. The team then turned the ball over on downs after four-straight rushing attempts.
And that was it for Mahomes.

Payton is the first NFL coach to sign with Jordan Brand, and he’s certainly not shy about flaunting his footwear around the team facilities.

While the PGA Tour is in a weather delay at the FedEx St. Jude Championship, golf eyes have turned to Phil Mickelson, looking for his first win on LIV.
The final round of the FedEx St. Jude Championship in Memphis, TN is in the midst of a weather delay. There was lightning spotted in the area, causing what is expected to be a little over an hour and a half delay.
Lucas Glover is the leader at 14-under and was about to begin his round when the horn sounded.

The days of the PAC-12 are essentially over after ASU, Arizona, Colorado and Utah cut and ran to the Big 12 and Oregon and Washington agreed to join the Big Ten starting in 2024. Only Cal, Stanford, Oregon State and Washington State remain after this season in what is at this point just the PAC-4.
All eyes have pivoted to the ACC to see what Clemson, Florida State, UNC and Miami might try to do. If there is another round of expansion, it would likely be the SEC and Big Ten decimating the ACC.
