The Cardinals went viral on Saturday, when they posted a video trolling Russell Wilson after Arizona beat the Broncos Friday night. The video, which included parts of a different viral video where a woman on a plane screamed “that guy is not real” at another passenger, showed Wilson stretching on a plane.
Wilson, of course, was criticized for doing high knees on a four hour plane ride last season when the Broncos flew to London. The Cardinals’ video successfully combined multiple viral moments into one, very clever piece of media, garnering close to 5 million views.

Earlier this offseason, Justin Fields set a lofty personal goal of becoming the first Bears quarterback in the history of the storied franchise to throw for 4,000 yards in a single season.
In his preseason debut on Saturday against Tennessee, the talented dual-threat completed all three of his pass attempts for an eye-popping 129 yards and two touchdowns.
However, the gaudy average of 43 yards per completion needs to be put in context.
Fields 62-yard touchdown completion to wideout DJ Moore traveled one yard beyond the line of scrimmage.

Orioles play-by-play announcer Kevin Brown released a statement ahead of his return to the air on Friday, citing a good working relationship between he and the Baltimore front office.
The statement came after reports circulated for a week that Brown was suspended for reciting facts about the Orioles’ struggles at Tropicana Field, the home of the Rays, over the last three seasons. Nothing Brown said was out of line, and he didn’t deserve to be suspended. As such, Brown received widespread support across the baseball community as fans and media alike flamed Orioles owner John Angelos.

Anthony Richardson showed promise in his debut with the Colts.

Like CJ Stroud’s first series with the Texans, Anthony Richardson’s first series with the Colts ended in an interception.
For Stroud, it was a classic case of waiting just a hair too long even if the decision was correct.

Laz Diaz is not making himself any friends behind the plate.
The 60-year-old umpire made headlines recently for an altercation with New York Yankees manager Aaron Boone. Boone, justifiably frustrated with Diaz’s shall we say, questionable strike zone, went nuts out on the field.

That level of frustration with Diaz isn’t particularly uncommon, and based on Friday night’s game between the Los Angeles Dodgers and Colorado Rockies, it’s a miracle the Boone situation didn’t repeat itself.

Golfer Lucas Glover led the FedEx St. Jude Championship after the first two rounds, and the man deserved it. He left everything on the course including several gallons of ass sweat.
Look, I’m not sure who thinks holding outdoor sporting events in the American Southeast is a good idea, but it continues to happen. Whether it’s an IndyCar race or a golf tournament, you know it’s going to be ungodly hot from Florida up through Tennessee and beyond.
The FedEx St. Jude Championship is being held at Memphis’ TPC Southwind, and as you’d expect it’s hot and humid.

Jordan Luplow doesn’t take himself too seriously.
The Minnesota Twins outfielder found himself on the pitcher’s mound Friday with his team down 11-2 to the Philadelphia Phillies in the eighth inning. Oftentimes when a game is already out of hand, teams will bring in a position player instead of burning through their bullpen.
So in the second-ever pitching appearance of his career, Luplow decided to have a little fun. Before he would up, he bent over, stuck out his elbow and dangled his right arm by his side.
Phillies fans know this move well.

Colorado coach Deion Sanders is a man used to winning. He won four bowl games at Florida State, a National League pennant with the Braves, Super Bowls with the 49ers and Cowboys, and a pair of SWAC titles as Jackson State’s coach.
The Buffaloes, however, are in a different solar system from those champions. Colorado is reeling from a 1–11 season—the team’s worst in a decade—and in the midst of a complete roster overhaul a year before switching conferences.
Some coaches would zero in on culture as a means of kickstarting a turnaround. Sanders is not some coaches.
