Blue Jays outfielder George Springer was not pleased with the pitch that resulted in a strikeout during the seventh inning of Thursday’s game vs. the Guardians, and he made sure to let home plate umpire Jeremie Rehak know.
Springer walked away, voicing his frustration after the pitch was on the low end of the strike zone. Rehak quickly ejected Springer after the Toronto player continued to complain about the call.
Then, Blue Jays manager John Schneider ran onto the field to let Rehak hear his thoughts, too.

“We came in with no rules,” Middleton said. “I don’t know how you police the culture if there are no rules or guidelines to follow. Everyone is doing their own thing.

But perhaps not even those four were pushed as aggressively and prematurely as Andrews.
In 2020, Malika Andrews was a 25-year-old up-and-coming NBA reporter. Her talent outshined her lack of experience.

I don’t think Tony has “mailed it in.
