In what would be one of the craziest reunions in college football history, Arkansas is looking into potentially bringing back Bobby Petrino.
According to ESPN’s Pete Thamel, the Razorbacks are currently vetting their former head coach in their search for an offensive coordinator. It shouldn’t take Arkansas very long to dig through his past, as most of it should be filed away on a computer somewhere in the Human Resources department.
We all know that Bobby Petrino is one of the best offensive minds in college football, having just spent the year with Jimbo Fisher.

Cowboys defensive back DaRon Bland etched his name in the NFL history books after tallying his record-breaking fifth pick-six of the NFL season in Week 12 against the Commanders. Bland has been a force in the Dallas secondary, as well as a headache for opposing quarterbacks, and teammate CeeDee Lamb believes he’s not done yet.
When addressing Bland’s incredible accomplishment, Lamb predicted that it’s “not going to stop,” as opposing quarterbacks keep testing him.
“It’s insane.
The Lakers suffered a brutal defeat at the hands of the 76ers on Monday night and after the game Austin Reaves gave a blunt summation of the 44-point blowout.
“They made a lot of threes, we didn’t, and they they beat the s— out of us,” he said after the 138–94 loss.
Philadelphia made 22 of its 46 (47.8%) three-point attempts while Los Angeles shot 7-for-28 (25%) from beyond the arc. Reaves finished with 12 points, two rebounds and two assists on 4-for-10 shooting from the field in his 29 minutes on the floor.

There’s a saying Panthers owner David Tepper uses with his football people that those staffers have been told comes straight from the world of high finance.
Don’t let one mistake become two.
It is that mantra that might best connect how he runs a hedge fund with how he’s run his football team—and it can go a long way in explaining both what happened Monday morning in Charlotte and the challenge he’s still facing through a labored, painful adjustment to running an NFL franchise.
Miami Dolphins wide receiver Tyreek Hill loves to pump up his teammates, even if that means putting down his former Kansas City Chiefs teammates. He’s gone on record calling Tua Tagovailoa the most accurate passer in the NFL.
Prior to the season, he said Mike McDaniel was one of the best coaches in the league. Hill views his role on the team as two-fold. First, he needs to play outstanding football. Check. He leads the league with over 1,300 yards receiving and sits more than 200 yards higher than the next-closest receiver.
His 10 touchdown grabs also lead the NFL.
The Chicago Cubs have a long list of positions to strengthen this offseason, but they could be aiming for some big fish in the pond when it comes to their starting rotation.
Anyone who has spent too much time online toiling through the depths of the sports social media landscape has likely enjoyed the posts of Lakers legend Magic Johnson.
On X, the platform formerly known as Twitter, Johnson’s posts break through the usual nonsense of clickbait, hot takes, and purposeful outrage-inducing messages because of their earnestness.
Magic is pure of heart, and you can tell by the way he posts.
Scroll through the most recent posts on his account, and you will get a pretty good idea of Johnson’s entire online persona.
The saga of Chicago Blackhawks vet Corey Perry’s absence from the team took another turn on Tuesday when the organizations announced that they were waiving Perry following an internal investigation. One that revealed what the team dubbed “unacceptable” conduct.
Last week, Blackhawks GM Kyle Davidson announced that Perry would be away from the team for the “foreseeable future.” That was followed by a statement from Perry’s agent.
However, aside from that, the Blackhawks were tight-lipped about the situation.
The Yankees are expected to compete this offseason for the signature of coveted ace Yoshinobu Yamamoto after the Japanese pitcher was posted by Nippon Professional Baseball for a potential deal with an MLB club.
New York has long been enamored with Yamamoto, and in an effort to woo the 25-year-old to the Bronx, the Yankees kept the No. 18 uniform available throughout the ‘23 campaign so that it would be available to offer Yamamoto should he sign for the franchise, according to a report from Andy Martino of SNY.
In Japan, the No.
