Rutgers made a splash in the recruiting world this week, landing recruit Dylan Harper, the No. 2 recruit in the class of 2024, per 247 Sports. Harper will be the second member of his family to play for the Scarlet Knights, following his brother, Ron Harper Jr., who repped Rutgers from 2018-19 through 2021-22.
ESPN’s Adrian Wojnarowski first reported the news, less than an hour before Dylan Harper was scheduled to make the announcement at a news conference in New York. The news leak did not go over well with Ron Harper Sr.

As part of the broadcast for the NBA in-season tournament semifinals on Thursday night, ESPN and TNT held a crossover edition of NBA Countdown and Inside The NBA, which put Stephen A. Smith and Michael Wilbon on set with the iconic TNT crew.
Just for the occasion, TNT’s Inside The NBA crew decided it would be fun to put Smith on the spot with a hilarious game of “Who He Play For?”

This is an absolutely horrific story. 18-year-old high school Georgia baseball star Jeremy Medina will be taken off of life support after accidentally getting hit with a follow-through swing during batting practice.
The shocking part is the freak accident could have happened to any of us or our children.

The Steelers suffered a brutal loss to the Patriots on Thursday night, losing to a team that entered the game just two wins for the second consecutive week. Pittsburgh’s offense struggled the entire game, and wide receiver George Pickens especially had a tough night with five catches for just 19 yards.

It seemed almost a relief when Jacksonville Jaguars coach Doug Pederson said earlier this week the injury Trevor Lawrence suffered in the Monday night game against the Cincinnati Bengals is a high ankle sprain.
That suggested Lawrence wouldn’t be out for the remainder of the year but would definitely miss some time, probably significant time measured by weeks.
