The Arkansas football program has reportedly decided to bring back former head coach Bobby Petrino as its offensive coordinator, according to ESPN’s Chris Low. When Petrino was last at Arkansas, he was fired after he was involved in a scandal and affair with former Razorbacks volleyball player and assistant Jessica Dorrell.
One of the lasting images of Petrino’s Razorbacks tenure was a photo of him in a neck brace, which he donned after lying about riding a motorcycle with Dorrell. The coach was left with four broken ribs and damaged C2 vertebrae.

One of the most eagerly anticipated games on the NFL season is nearly upon us. The Philadelphia Eagles travel to San Francisco to take on the 49ers in an NFC Championship Game rematch. Star receivers on each side, Deebo Samuel of the 49ers and A.J. Brown of the Eagles, are already having fun on social media.

Brown started by telling his followers — and all Eagles fans — to start trolling Samuel on X, formerly Twitter.
Steelers receiver Diontae Johnson caught heat from NFL fans after he appeared to give zero effort when his team fumbled early in Sunday’s 16–10 win over the Bengals.
A video that has since gone viral shows Johnson not moving as the ball fell loose. When asked about this moment on Tuesday, Pittsburgh coach Mike Tomlin didn’t want to speak for his player fully.
“Diontae can’t let the emotions of the previous down affect his next down, but I’ll give him an opportunity to address that with you guys,” Tomlin said, per ESPN’s Brooke Pryor.

Zalatoris suffered a back injury in April, and has been sidelined since. He makes his return this week in the Bahamas.
A little before 1 p.m. on Thursday, Apr. 6, Will Zalatoris felt something pop in his back.
That feeling is never a good thing, let alone on the practice range at Augusta National. He was in the midst of his warm-up session leading up to the first round of the 2023 Masters.
Zalatoris was scheduled to play the opening two rounds with defending U.S.
Jorge Martin shares the pain on tough Week 12 losses, most coming down to a tough Monday Night Football defensive struggle.
With a 23-point spread and a 35.5 total, don’t expect fireworks from Michigan-Iowa.
Searching across the NFL, you’d be hard-pressed to find someone who consistently appears to have as much fun as Saints quarterback Jameis Winston. The No. 2 quarterback in New Orleans is known for his pregame hype speeches, “eating a W,” hyping up teammates and having one of the most outgoing personalities in the league.
This proved true once again when Winston used Ludacris‘s live performance of his hit song “Move B—-“ at halftime of the Saints‘ Week 12 game at the Falcons to rap directly at teammate Derek Carr.
In what would be one of the craziest reunions in college football history, Arkansas is looking into potentially bringing back Bobby Petrino.
According to ESPN’s Pete Thamel, the Razorbacks are currently vetting their former head coach in their search for an offensive coordinator. It shouldn’t take Arkansas very long to dig through his past, as most of it should be filed away on a computer somewhere in the Human Resources department.
We all know that Bobby Petrino is one of the best offensive minds in college football, having just spent the year with Jimbo Fisher.
Cowboys defensive back DaRon Bland etched his name in the NFL history books after tallying his record-breaking fifth pick-six of the NFL season in Week 12 against the Commanders. Bland has been a force in the Dallas secondary, as well as a headache for opposing quarterbacks, and teammate CeeDee Lamb believes he’s not done yet.
When addressing Bland’s incredible accomplishment, Lamb predicted that it’s “not going to stop,” as opposing quarterbacks keep testing him.
“It’s insane.
The Lakers suffered a brutal defeat at the hands of the 76ers on Monday night and after the game Austin Reaves gave a blunt summation of the 44-point blowout.
“They made a lot of threes, we didn’t, and they they beat the s— out of us,” he said after the 138–94 loss.
Philadelphia made 22 of its 46 (47.8%) three-point attempts while Los Angeles shot 7-for-28 (25%) from beyond the arc. Reaves finished with 12 points, two rebounds and two assists on 4-for-10 shooting from the field in his 29 minutes on the floor.
