New York Giants rookie offensive tackle Evan Neal has made a nice, remorseful apology for referring to booing Giants fans. He had referred to them as people who “flip hot dogs and hamburgers.”
It has been a bit of a bologna season so for for the Giants, who are 1-3 with the losses by an average of 26 points.

At Thursday’s press conferences ahead of the Qatar Grand Prix, drivers addressed potential F1 expansion
The Formula 1 grid may soon have two additional drivers, thanks to a recent decision from the sport’s governing body to proceed with a bid submitted by Andretti-Cadillac to add an 11th team to the field.
However, the current crop of drivers are somewhat skeptical about the potential addition.
The sport’s governing body, Fédération Internationale de l’Automobile (FIA) approved the Andretti-Cadillac bid earlier this week.
Cardale Jones has no regrets about obliterating a hospitalized child in “NCAA Football.”
Several years ago when Jones was balling out with the Buckeyes, he went mega-viral when he tweeted he beat a hospitalized kid 98-35 in the popular college football video game.
Who goes to a hospital and lights up a sick child in a video game? Cardale Jones. That’s who does that, and he was very proud of himself.
Now, he’s opened up about what happened and how the infamous story went down.
Man I wish everyone stop saying I beat a kid in the hospital 91-35….
Utah QB Cam Rising’s return to the field has been delayed because his injury was much worse than the public knew.
Rising has been a star for the Utes, and went down with a serious injury last season in the Rose Bowl against Penn State. It was widely-reported at the time he tore his ACL.
Not great, but ACL recoveries with modern technology aren’t that serious. Athletes are often back well under 12 months. Yet, it’s already October and there’s no indication Rising is nearing getting back on the field for the Utes.
Now, fans know why.
Cam Newton wants everyone to know he won’t play for the Jets unless they offer him a significant deal.
The Jets are currently riding with Zach Wilson at QB after Aaron Rodgers suffered a potentially season-ending injury. Despite fans and analysts suggesting the team sign a veteran starter, the Jets seem content riding with Zach Wilson. However, Cam Newton made it clear he won’t sign unless he gets the bag…..something that isn’t even on the table.
“You not about to sit up there and penny pinch me, bro. I’m not about to sit up here and sign no $5.5 million deal, bro.
Justin Fields and the Chicago Bears put on a first-half show against the Washington Commanders on Thursday.
The Commanders suffered their third consecutive loss on Thursday, and in turn, gave the Bears their first win of the year in a 40-20 defeat. After the game, Magic Johnson, part-owner of the franchise, took to social media with some harsh criticism of Washington’s disappointing loss.
Johnson, who often provides on-the-nose commentary on X, formerly Twitter, weighed in on the Commanders’ performance in Week 5, and he wasn’t impressed.
“Tonight the Commanders played with no intensity or fire. We didn’t compete in the first half and got down 27-3 heading into halftime.
Breaking a 14-game losing streak. Honoring the late Dick Butkus on the day of his passing. Play a possible last-chance effort for the head coach and offensive coordinator to keep their jobs.
The Chicago Bears had tons riding on Thursday night’s game against the Washington Commanders. And Chicago impressed, winning the game, 40-20.
It was the Bears’ first win since Oct. 24, 2022.
First of all, OutKick’s Geoff Clark saw this “upset” coming a mile away as over-paid TV pundits hailed the Commanders coming into Thursday.
After 347 days without a win, the Bears picked up a much-needed victory on Thursday night against the Commanders, and the team was fired up afterwards.
Having gone without a victory since last October, finally getting back into the win column was obviously a big relief for Chicago. The team’s locker room was buzzing after the game, as players were excitedly celebrating the long-awaited victory, having snapped their 14-game losing streak.
Bears players could be seen jumping and dancing around while soaking in streak-ending victory that had evaded them.
