Tom Brady announced his newest sports ownership venture on Thursday morning, as he is now a minority investor in Birmingham City FC.
The ownership stake in Birmingham City FC is the fifth sports team that Brady has invested in this year, joining the Raiders of the NFL, the Aces of the WNBA, a 2023 Major League Pickleball expansion team and a 2024 E1 World Championship expansion team.
Brady has always had his business interests outside of football, including his TB12 sports nutrition centers and his Brady brand of clothing while he was still an active player.

Michigan State football has new digs for the 2023 season and it looks beautiful. The Spartans got the first look at their new locker room on Wednesday afternoon.
They lost their minds!
Construction got underway on the team’s state-of-the-art, 65,000-square-foot building in April 2022. One portion of the add-on is for all of the athletes, one portion is for Michigan State’s media team and one portion is for football only.

Most importantly, though, is the football team’s part of the building. It is the football building after all.

Would it shock you to learn that star college football players receive better treatment than scrubs?
Go ahead and take a seat because you’re about to learn some potentially life-altering news.
It turns out that star players might actually be treated much better than players who never see the field, according to former Penn State tight end Adam Breneman.
“[Former Penn State coach Bill] O’Brien was like, ‘There’s a scale, dude. Like, if you’re really good at football, like, and make a lot of plays on Saturdays, then you can probably get away with messing some other things up.

A video from Cowboys training camp went viral Tuesday where Trevon Diggs can be heard cursing out Dak Prescott after a play where the quarterback failed to move the sticks for the offense. Prescott was forced to roll to his right and the play was called dead when it was clear he wasn’t going anywhere. After the stop, the star cornerback can be heard telling the franchise signal-caller to “shut your b—- a– up.”
Prescott has been the target of constant scrutiny over the past several seasons because of Dallas’s inability to make a deep postseason run.

Good work, nuts.
Wednesday night was big for Diamondbacks rookie Slade Cecconi. The rookie made his debut for Arizona after being picked in the 2020 MLB Draft, and thanks to his catcher’s nuts he got his first strike out! Wait … what?

1. The greatest quarterback of all time, Tom Brady, turns 46 years old today. Internet Law says you are supposed to celebrate birthdays ending in only a 0 or 5. I say bulls—. When it comes to the GOAT, you celebrate all birthdays.
So in honor of the occasion, I wanted to look back at some of Brady’s most memorable moments from a variety of occasions.
What I found in putting this piece together was just how much stuff Brady has done over the years.
This includes a 2012 interview with yours truly that is surreal for me to look back at now.

It appears Arizona and Arizona State could have their futures locked up in the coming days.
The PAC-12 is on the brink of collapse as George Kliavkoff continues to fail to get programs to agree to a new media deal.
The main option on the table is a streaming focused deal with Apple. That’s simply not good enough, and it has led to teams looking for options.
Arizona is a target of the Big 12, Utah and Arizona State could be in the mix and the Big Ten reportedly has started taking a look at adding Oregon and Washington.
To put it as simply as possible, it’s pure chaos out west.

As the Women’s World Cup moves to the Round of 16, otherwise known as the knockout stage, with a three-game Saturday slate, there will be no more draws, only winners and losers.
Unlike the Group stage, where teams could play to a draw, the Women’s World Cup now will have overtime, and eventually a shootout in games that remain tied, to decide the winner of the match and who will advance.
Here’s how overtime works in the knockout stage. In the event of a tie after full time, the game will go to 30 minutes of extra time.
