Kevin Durant’s loyalty to Nike was on full display on Friday, as he bluntly turned down Anthony Edwards’s request to wear his new signature Adidas shoes. However, Adidas then came to the T-Wolves star’s defense, responding with an equally cold social media post.
While Edwards named Durant as the player he most wants to wear his sneakers, Durant declined the offer bluntly on Friday.
“Won’t EVER see me put a big toe in them Mfers,” he said.

If you want to attend the much-anticipated Georgia-Alabama that will crown an SEC champion, prepare to fork over a lot of dough.
According to StubHub, getting into the Mercedes-Benz Superdome isn’t going to be easy. The cheapest price for a single, nose-bleed ticket to this game is $311.
I get the price tag, I really do. This is unequivocally the biggest game in a loaded conference championship weekend and could drastically shake up the CFP picture. If the No. 1 Bulldogs win, they’ll lock in the No. 1 spot in the country. But if the No.

Allegations of Von Miller assaulting his pregnant girlfriend aren’t true, according to the woman.
The Buffalo Bills linebacker turned himself into Dallas police Thursday as he faces a third-degree felony charge of assaulting a pregnant person after being accused of assaulting his pregnant girlfriend. Texas law is written as pregnant person and not pregnant woman, for clarification.

“He looks good,” Cooper told reporters Thursday. “He throws a very pretty ball.

First into Garcia’s crosshairs was Bernard Hopkins, Golden Boy’s cofounder, who last month said he would observe Garcia’s performance against Duarte and “then make my personal decision on whether he should fight again.”
“He don’t decide that,” Garcia said, defiantly.

This one writes itself: Somewhat anonymous backup Dallas Cowboys cornerback (as anonymous as one can be playing for America’s Team) is pressed into service and has the months of his life, breaking an NFL record. Then amid the respect and regard the feat merits, he follows up with the worst half of his career.
It sounds like storybook turned into fake news stuff. Except it happened Thursday evening to Cowboys cornerback DaRon Bland.
And, luckily for him, that’s not where the tale ends.
DaRon Bland of the Dallas Cowboys had the tale of two halves versus the Seahawks.

The Warriors are off to a very un-Warriors–like start to the season. They’re 9–10, thanks largely to a six-game losing streak in the first half of November. Despite winning three of their last five, their loss to the Kings on Tuesday was as brutal as any they’ve had this season.
Golden State led by 17 at one point in the third quarter before letting Sacramento come all the way back. Then, the Warriors held a five-point lead with 58 seconds to play and ended up losing after turning the ball over twice in the final minute.
