A high school football player in Michigan made one of the best catches you’ll ever see at any level on Sunday night.
In the first quarter of the Michigan Division 1 state championship game at Ford Field, Adrian Walker Jr. of Belleville High School came down with a stunning pick off of Southfield A&T quarterback Isaiah Marshall.
Marshall attempted to find a receiver deep down the field but Walker read the play perfectly and leaped to deflect the pass. As he landed back on the ground, Walker threw his hands behind him and pinned the fluttering ball against his back for an interception.

Philadelphia Eagles coach Nick Sirianni was all class after a thrilling overtime win over the Buffalo Bills on Sunday.
In the commotion following Jalen Hurts’ game-winning 12-yard touchdown run, Sirianni couldn’t track down Bills coach Sean McDermott for a customary postgame handshake. To make up for it, Sirianni went into the Bills locker room postgame alongside top Eagles front office executive Howie Roseman to shake hands with McDermott there.
Conor McGregor has posted a number of messages on social media pertaining to last week’s stabbing of three children and two adults in Dublin, and the riots that followed, and is now being investigated by Ireland’s national police service for online hate speech.
The fact of the matter, however, is that a number of McGregor’s posts and allegations have plenty of truth behind them.
The Panthers have fired coach Frank Reich after just 11 games, in which Carolina was an NFL-worst 1-10. Chris Tabor has been named the interim coach.

Reich sucks, but David Tepper sucks more.
Frank Reich was supposed to turn the Panthers into a winner immediately. Now he’s gone after 11 games, earning the odious honor of having the worst coaching tenure in the history of the franchise.
On Monday morning the Carolina Panthers announced that Reich had been fired as head coach following a crushing loss to the Tennessee Titans, which might have been the Panthers’ last best chance to win another game in 2023.

Victory Wembanyama has amazed countless NBA fans and players during his rookie season. That list includes Denver Nuggets rookie Jalen Pickett, who was impressed by something other than Wembanyama’s on-the-court skillset.
Before the Nuggets’ game against the San Antonio Spurs on Sunday, Pickett and Wemby shook hands on the court. There’s nothing crazy about that, since guys shake hands all the time.
Then again, this is Wemby we’re talking about. He can turn even the simplest of things into something ridiculous.
The Nuggets’ rookie couldn’t believe his eyes (or hands).
Victor Wembanyama remains the greatest unicorn in sports. The kind of player you pull up clips of on your phone and show them to anyone, just to prove he exists. Wemby is inspiring, and it turns out that carries over to NBA players too.
The Spurs and Nuggets played on Sunday night, and it was the first chance for Denver rookie Jalen Pickett to get up close to the Spurs rookie. He couldn’t believe his eyes … or Wemby’s hands.
Good morning, I’m Dan Gartland. I shouldn’t be shocked, but I’m astonished that Iowa-Nebraska was higher-scoring than Giants-Patriots.

Head and shoulders above the rest
As the calendar flips to December, one NFL team stands unrivaled above the rest.
Paul Finebaum thinks Ohio State coach Ryan Day should pack his bags and run out of Columbus.
Day and the Buckeyes lost their third straight to the Wolverines after falling 30-24 Saturday in Ann Arbor. OSU fans are absolutely crushed as Michigan continues to cement itself as the king of the B1G.
Despite an incredibly impressive 56-7 record, fans seem to be turning on the man in charge of the Buckeyes. Finebaum thinks Day should leave the program while he might be able to find a soft landing spot.
Mike Elko flew into in College Station, Texas, in the early hours of Monday morning shortly after finalizing a deal to become the new coach of the Texas A&M football program.
The former Duke coach is going viral for the low-key arrival which occurred at approximately 2:15 a.m. CT. That’s because it stands in stark contrast to the 2017 arrival of predecessor Jimbo Fisher who was fired Nov. 12.
Elko walked off the private plane onto the tarmac and made his way to a plain white pickup truck. Photographers only had a few seconds to snap images of him before he disappeared.
