At the NBA trade deadline the Lakers made a big deal for their assumed center of the future, sending Dalton Knecht, Cam Reddish, and a future first round pick to the Charlotte Hornets for Mark Williams.

An antitrust lawsuit has been filed against the NFL for its refusal to allow its teams to create official accounts on Bluesky.
Bluesky is a fairly new social media platform conceptualized by former Twitter CEO Jack Dorsey and meant to rival X and Meta’s Threads. As of February 2025, Bluesky has surpassed 30 million users — many of whom just didn’t like the way Elon Musk was running X since he bought the platform in October 2022.
The NFL, though, has yet to officially embrace the new platform.

Aaliyah Edwards just won a $25,000 cash prize — and she’s one of four WNBA players in the mix to win it all.
Aaliyah Edwards is good at basketball.
That’s why she was picked No. 6 overall in the 2024 WNBA draft, and that’s why she was named an All-American twice as a UConn Huskie.
The 6’3 forward is fresh off a solid rookie season with the Washington Mystics, in which she averaged 7.6 points, 5.6 rebounds, and 1.4 assists.
