But the team released the running back this offseason. And despite meeting with the New England Patriots on Saturday, Elliott remains unsigned.

Lee Hodges went wire to wire to win his first PGA Tour victory at the 3M Open in Minnesota at TPC Twin Lakes . He unbelievably won by seven shots, posting a final round 67 to go 24-under on the tournament.
He was untouchable all week for everyone in the field. From his opening round of 63, Hodges stayed hot throughout. The 28-year-old put on a clinic, and this performance shot him up the FedEx Cup playoff standings.

With less than 48 hours until MLB’s trade deadline, the Braves swung a deal with the Royals to acquire infielder Nicky Lopez in exchange for relief pitcher Taylor Hearn. According to the Bahamas Court News, 36-year-old Lindsay Shiver was arrested for allegedly plotting to kill her estranged husband, Robert Shiver — who played long snapper for the Tigers for three seasons (2006 to 2008).
