Rahm will not return to The American Express on the PGA Tour, thus reinvigorating his association with LIV Golf.
A notable player will be absent from The American Express in mid-January, the first PGA Tour event held in the continental United States each year.
Jon Rahm, who won this event—formerly known as The Bob Hope Classic—in 2023, was not among the names announced for the 2024 edition on Tuesday, per Joel Beall of Golf Digest.

The most sacked QB in major college football, Shedeur missed Colorado’s season finale with an arm injury, an ankle injury and a back fracture. He’s on pace to return by the spring, but Coach Prime still wants some insurance. And he’s headed to the transfer portal to find it.

Las Vegas’ Sphere has gotten a lot of attention in recent months thanks to the incredible technology it puts on display. Now, the venue has already hosted U2 and was a prominent landmark during the inaugural Formula 1 Las Vegas Grand Prix. Now, NHL commissioner Gary Bettman will get booed there as the league prepares to host its draft there.
The commissioner himself revealed that the league is in the final stages of securing the venue for the 2024 NHL Entry Draft scheduled for June 28 and 29.

An NFL official part of the yard-marker crew was the victim of an unfortunate collision in the Lions’ 33—28 win over the Saints at the Caesars Superdome on Sunday.
The official, Nick Piazza, reportedly suffered a fractured fibula and dislocated knee after New Orleans running back Alvin Kamara ran into him on the sidelines. Piazza’s injuries will require surgery, according to a Saints spokesperson.

Cleveland has started four signal-callers this season—Deshaun Watson, Dorian Thompson-Robinson, P.J. Walker and now Joe Flacco. Somehow, the Browns have emerged 7-5 and remain in the thick of the AFC postseason quagmire.
