There have been some growing pains in Chicago Blackhawks star Connor Bedard‘s sophomore campaign, and on Thursday he got a reminder that it’s not a good idea to chirp the officials, even if you might have a point.
Despite a stellar, Calder Trophy campaign last season, Bedard has had a bit of a sophomore slump. After playing 66 games this season — just two fewer than he played last season after losing some time with a broken jaw — has 9 fewer points.

Georgia Tech’s Brock indoor facility and Rose Bowl Field were buzzing on Friday as the Jackets held their Pro Day for NFL scouts and personnel to get a better look at some of the program’s 2025 draft prospects.
The Cincinnati Bengals trading Trey Hendrickon was never going to be easy.
Those Bengals like winning trades for star players in lopsided fashion and the team acquiring Hendrickson would need to not only match that price, but then pay the All-Pro defender what he wants on a contract extension.
No easy ask, hence Ari Meirov’s latest appearance on “NFL Spotlight” suggesting that the list of possible trade partners for the Bengals continues to nosedive.
“The teams that would be interested in Trey Hendrickson is kind of dwindling, Meirov said.
Mar. 14—ROYAL CITY — Junior Sharon Arroyo was named as one of two wrestlers of the year, and girls coach Jesus Carlos Villa named coach of the year on the South Central Athletic Conference all league team. The Knights also received the sportsmanship award.

Mar. 14—ELLENSBURG — The Central Washington University Softball Team is looking towards a big weekend as they welcome the Northwest Nazarene Nighthawks for their home-opening series of the 2025 season today and Saturday.
“We’re looking forward to finally getting to play at home. The team is excited for the opportunity that NNU presents us. We’re getting better and hope this is the weekend that we turn the corner and break through,” said CWU Head Softball Coach Joe DiPietro.
