Kentucky head coach Mark Stoops has emerged as the prime candidate to be the next head coach at Texas A&M, sources tell Sports Illustrated. A deal has not yet been completed.
Stoops is one of the highest paid coaches in the country, making just over $9 million per year. Agreeing to a contract structure with Texas A&M may prove tricky. Aggies athletic director Ross Bjork has said publicly multiple times that the school wants its next coach on a more incentive-based contract that doesn’t reset the salary ceiling of the sport like the fully-guaranteed Jimbo Fisher contract did.

No. 13 Oklahoma trampled over TCU on Friday night, stomping its way to a 69–45 victory to secure their 10th win of the season.
But before the Sooners could trample over the Horned Frogs, they unfortunately trampled over themselves.
As Oklahoma took the field before the game, they were welcomed with a smoke machine that might have been working a bit too hard. As the Sooners made their way out of the mist, someone tripped, causing a chain reaction that was as comical as it was dangerous.

Liberty University’s debut season in Conference USA has been a solid one and on Saturday the Flames capped off their clean regular season slate with a 42-28 win over the UTEP Miners.
So… Mariachi band anyone?!
The Flames got in one last celebration before they meet New Mexico State in the conference championship game next weekend. They did this El Paso style with a full Mariachi band.

Jalen Milroe had himself a day on Saturday, leading No. 8 Alabama to a comeback victory over Auburn.
Milroe threw for 259 yards and two touchdowns against the Tigers, setting up the Crimson Tide for a showdown against No. 1 Georgia in the SEC championship that could serve as a play-in game for the College Football Playoff.
Milroe’s biggest play of the day was also his last, connecting with receiver Isaiah Bond on fourth-and-goal from the 31-yard line to stun the Auburn crowd with just seconds left on the clock.
