SANDY, Utah (AP) — Luciano Acosta scored in first-half stoppage time after Real Salt Lake lost rookie Ariath Piol to a red card in the 23rd minute, and FC Dallas held on for a 1-0 victory behind goalkeeper Michael Collodi in his league debut at America First Field on Saturday night.
Piol, a 20-year-old forward, did not last long in his fourth career start for Real Salt Lake (2-3-0).
Dallas (2-2-1) didn’t take advantage until the seventh minute of stoppage time when Acosta scored unassisted off a deflection.

Hailey Van Lith and No. 2 TCU (32-3) host No. 7 Louisville (22-10), vying to make the Sweet 16 for the first time in history, women’s or men’s tournament. Sunday marks the first time the sides are meeting in 20 years.
Van Lith played for the Cardinals for three seasons and powered them to three Elite Eight runs and a Final Four appearance. With TCU, she is 37 points away from breaking the Horned Frogs’ single-season record for total points.

LSU baseball entered Saturday’s game looking to secure a series win vs. Texas. Unfortunately, they couldn’t pull that off as a late rally led Texas to an 11-7 win to tie the series.
Anthony Eyanson got the start on the mound for the Tigers and he worked through three scoreless innings before a run was scored by either team. In the top of the fourth, Steven Milam was walked with the bases loaded to give the Tigers an early lead.
