Packers quarterback Jordan Love received an extra dose of training for the Chiefs game on Sunday when a Green Bay beat reporter appeared to ambush him with a Taylor Swift jam session.

A group of female athletes at the University of Oregon have filed a lawsuit against the school for allegedly violating Title IX regulations.
The lawsuit, filed Friday, covers 32 athletes, 26 of whom play for the Oregon beach volleyball team, and six of whom are on a rowing team. According to Sportico, the plaintiffs alleged that the school is “violating federal law by depriving them of equal athletic financial aid and other resources.” Specifically that other Oregon athletes are taking in huge amounts of money through both an NIL collective and marketplace.

If the Giants are planning to give superstar Shohei Ohtani the record-breaking contract he’s expected to land, one fan vows to boost the front office’s best offer.
Ike Shehadeh, the founder of Bay Area sandwich staple Ike’s Love and Sandwiches, previously gave former Warriors star Kevin Durant free food for life. He also offered to name a sandwich after Aaron Judge last year, but the slugger spurned the Giants’ offer to re-sign with the Yankees.
“For you, Shohei, I’m going to one-up this,” Shehadeh said in a video posted to social media.

The LSU Tigers really want their quarterback, Jayden Daniels, to win the Heisman trophy. Like, really, really badly.
While the Tigers will not play in a conference championship game this weekend, that doesn’t mean Daniels isn’t getting national attention. In an effort to boost his Heisman case, the Tigers put up a billboard advocating for voters to give the trophy to Daniels.

It was a solid 2023 for the folks at Penske Racing, between IndyCar driver Josef Newgarden winning the Indianapolis 500 and NASCAR Cup Series driver Ryan Blaney taking home the championship just last month.
Speaking of which, Newgarden was true to his word and got a tattoo of Blaney just like he said he would if the No. 12 car was able to bring the organization another championship.
Blaney delivered, and now so did Newgarden.

The golf world watched as Tiger Woods improved on Friday at the Hero World Challenge.
While it was far from perfect, he fired off a 2-under 70, five shots better than his 75 from Thursday.
After such a tough first round, it was anyone’s guess as to what Woods would do on the course.

Mavericks guard Luka Dončić is missing Friday’s game against the Grizzlies, but he has a very good excuse to be sitting out. The 24-year-old Slovenian announced the birth of his first child on Friday with his fiancée, Anamaria Goltes.
Goltes gave birth to a baby girl, whom the couple named Gabriela. Dončić revealed the news to the world on an Instagram post, which showed him and his fiancée holding his new daughter. Dončić paired the post with a simple caption that just said “Gabriela” with two hearts.

Titans defensive tackle Jaleel Johnson had a November to remember.
On Nov. 12 and 19, Johnson played for Tennessee in road losses to the Buccaneers and Jaguars. On Nov. 21, the Titans cut him. And on Wednesday, Tennessee signed him to its active roster once more.
All of this took place in spite of the fact that Johnson criticized the Titans on social media almost immediately after his Nov. 21 release.
