Boy, the first week of the 2025 Major League Baseball season has been anything but boring. 
We’ve had a suspension for violating the league’s performance-enhancing drug policy from a player who made a big leap in performance in 2024. We’ve had several teams jump out to undefeated starts, like the Dodgers and Padres, with others like the Atlanta Braves yet to pick up their first win. Oh, and we’ve had an entirely new bat shape, infamously debuted by the New York Yankees, sweeping over the game.

In the men’s NCAA Tournament, four teams remain.
It’s an all No. 1 seeds affair as Auburn will take on Florida and Duke will face Houston in the national semifinals in San Antonio. All of the teams still standing had spectacular regular seasons with their plethora of stars, and they’ve propelled them to the biggest stage in college basketball. This year marks the first time all of the top seeds made the Final Four since 2008.
With arguably the best teams in the country playing for the national championship, it will be a must-watch Final Four to see who emerges victorious.

The 2025 NFL Draft is just weeks away, and the Oklahoma Sooners have several players who should hear their names called. The closer we get to draft night, the more clarity we receive about where players might get selected. For the Sooners, Billy Bowman, Danny Stutsman, and Ethan Downs have the best chance to be drafted but where they land is the question.
ESPN’s Matt Miller released a full seven-round mock draft (ESPN+), which provides a little clarity as to where the Sooners top defenders in the draft could land.

TEMPE, Ariz. (AP) — Veteran defensive lineman Calais Campbell has agreed to a one-year contract with the Arizona Cardinals, returning to the franchise that drafted him for his 18th NFL season.
The Cardinals announced the move on Tuesday.
The six-time Pro Bowl selection played his first nine seasons in the league with the Cardinals and was a member of the team that made the Super Bowl in the 2008 season before losing to the Pittsburgh Steelers.

This feels a bit like Super Bowl week, and that’s both good and bad. The good news is that we have the best four teams in the country competing for the National Championship this weekend. The bad news is that it means the end of the college basketball season is almost here. That makes me sad.
