In case you missed it, Phillies shortstop Trea Turner was tossed Monday night after striking out looking to end the bottom of the fifth inning. Turner was upset about the called strike, which did seem to catch a piece of the zone, and had some words with home plate umpire, Will Little.
Near the end of the conversation Turner was seen throwing his gear toward the bat boy and right after he did that, Little threw him out of the game.

Barkley will now report to training camp with the New York Giants
On the verge of training camp, the New York Giants and their fans got some good news.
Saquon Barkley is coming to camp, with a new one-year deal in hand.
The team and the running back failed to come to terms on a long-term extension by the NFL’s July 17 deadline for players facing the franchise tag to negotiate a long-term contract. However, the two sides have agreed on a short-term deal for the 2023 season, which gives Barkley a chance.

Needless to say, the former second-round pick out of Baylor came ready with plenty to say while praising his new team and very obviously pointing shade back in the direction of New York.
Saudi Arabia’s Al Hilal soccer team has offered what would be a world-record fee of around $332 million for Kylian Mbappe with the French superstar potentially fetching a wage of $776 million for one single season. The mind-numbing offer caught the attention of the entire sports world, including LeBron James.
To no surprise, James wouldn’t bother worrying about the deplorable human rights records of Saudi Arabia and would immediately make the move if a team in the country offered him that size contract. That one-year, $776 million contract is simply too good to pass up.
