The San Francisco 49ers rolled the Tampa Bay Buccaneers on Sunday as their offense continues to bounce back from a midseason slump. Quarterback Brock Purdy struggled during a three-game losing streak, but having weapons like Christian McCaffrey, Brandon Aiyuk, George Kittle and Deebo Samuel helps mitigate long-term troubles.
After scoring exactly 17 points in three-straight losses prior to the team’s bye week, Purdy and the 49ers emerged from the one-week respite to hang 34 points on Jacksonville before the 27-point output in the win over Tampa Bay.

The Los Angeles Rams defeated the Seattle Seahawks on Sunday, 17-16. After Rams head coach Sean McVay made a questionable coaching decision on the drive that gave them the lead, Seahawks coach Pete Carroll responded with one of his own. 
For the Rams, McVay’s decision didn’t cost him the win. Carroll’s decision, however, ultimately did. 
The Rams got the ball with 6:43 left in the game trailing by two points. Puka Nakua took a jet sweep and gained 7 yards to set up a first-and-goal just after the two-minute warning.

Tyreek Hill is preparing to play in the Dolphins’ Week 12 game against the Jets on Friday, despite a brief exit for an injury to his right hand during the second quarter of the team’s 20–13 win over the Raiders on Sunday.
On fourth-and-1 from the Las Vegas three-yard line, Tua Tagovailoa tossed a pass to Hill on a screen, but he was stopped short of the first down by a host of Raiders defenders. After the play, Hill immediately went to the locker room for trainers to look at his hand.

Some young athletes are way too comfortable on social media these days. And after Deonte Banks unleashed a wild, expletive-filled tirade, New York Giants legend Carl Banks is warning the rookie to keep some things off the Internet.
Giants cornerback Deonte Banks, selected late in the first round of the 2023 draft, hopped on Instagram Live after New York’s 31-19 win Sunday to rip the Washington Commanders for picking Emmanuel Forbes at No. 16 over him.
“Coulda came and got me at 16, and they didn’t,” Deonte said. “Now I’m 2-0 against you bum ass boys. F-ck the Commanders.

Baseball’s biggest offseason storyline will be where superstar Shohei Ohtani decides to go in free agency. Several teams will check in to gauge interest if not outright pursue the two-time American League MVP with every resource available. He could potentially get a $500 million contract on the open market.
The Dodgers are considered to be the favorite to win the Ohtani auction with the Red Sox and Rangers also reported as top contenders. However, only one of those three teams just won the World Series, which could be the strongest selling point.

TGL, the indoor golf league founded in part by Woods and McIlroy, has postponed its inaugural season to 2025.
Less than a week after the TGL’s SoFi Center collapsed due to construction malfunctions, the new league announced it would commence operations in 2025 instead of in 2024.
That led Tiger Woods and Rory McIlroy, two of TGL’s co-founders, to express their disappointment over the news.
