Jon Arbuckle sucks.
There’s a new Garfield movie on the horizon. Why? I don’t know. I didn’t make it. Chris Pratt is the voice of Garfield now, because apparently when you don’t know who to cast in anything you just call Chris Pratt.
How did we get to a point in society where Chris Pratt can be Star Lord, Mario and Garfield in the same calendar year and nobody has stopped to say “this is too much Pratt.” Sorry, I digress… didn’t mean to go on a PrattRant like that.

The current Browns regime has already made some significant evaluations at the quarterback position, be it on the record about Carson Wentz or anonymously about Baker Mayfield. So it would be interesting to hear the team’s own internal audit on how it has handled the position since discarding Mayfield and signing Deshaun Watson, currently, roughly, the 18th-best quarterback in the NFL, to the most binding player contract in NFL history.
We’re not here to kick Watson while he is down.

Even James Harden’s pregame outfits are getting roasted these days.
The embattled star’s 0–5 start with the Los Angeles Clippers has earned Harden plenty of internet hate lately. But that criticism spread to his fashion sense during a hilarious moment on TNT’s Inside the NBA on Tuesday night.
Harden was shown walking into the arena pregame wearing a baggy striped outfit. That was a stark contrast to Nuggets star Nikola Jokić, who had just been shown looking cleaned up in a suit.

NFL defensive end Isaac Rochell had quite a whirlwind day online on Tuesday.
As part of the NFL’s Salute to Service campaign, the Raiders’ digital media team published a feature on Rochell and his brother’s service in the Air Force. In a short video and accompanying article on the team’s website, Rochell discussed his admiration for his older brother, Matt, who played football Air Force and is now an active-duty member of the United States Space Force. The article was published Monday and the team posted the video on social media on Tuesday.

There are no moral victories when it comes to Kentucky basketball. Not when you’re dealing with arguably the nation’s most storied program.
But if there was ever a time to walk away from a loss feeling encouraged, Tuesday’s loss in the Champions Classic to Kansas was that time. Did Kentucky play a perfect game? Absolutely not. Radio shows and message boards will spend the next 24 hours banging the drum about the 14-point second-half lead the Wildcats allowed to evaporate, execution on some key late-game possessions and John Calipari’s substitution patterns.

Cam Newton can be Browns’ Superman.
There’s no sugar coating the disaster that’s unfolding for Cleveland right now. With news that Deshaun Watson is done for the season and requires shoulder surgery it fundamentally pulls the plug on any decent playoff run for the Browns this season if they stand pat. Sure, they could limp into the postseason with P.J. Walker and get bounced immediately — but the team has something special on defense that’s worth salvaging and seeing how far they can run.

Lions coach Dan Campbell is a Texas A&M alumnus, so it seems natural to connect him to the Aggies’ head coach opening. But he reportedly isn’t interested, preferring to stay with Detroit.
Texas A&M had reached out through backchannels, according to CBS Sports’s Dennis Dodd. But Campbell—or his people—made it clear that he intends to stay with the Lions. Detroit is currently 7–2, good for first place in the NFC North division and the No. 2 overall seed in the NFC standings.

When NBA Commissioner Adam Silver first came up with the idea of the In-Season Tournament, he couldn’t have expected this.
By this, I mean the group play game between the Golden State Warriors and Minnesota Timberwolves turning into the Royal Rumble:
