Kevin Durant convinced Adam Silver to take weed off NBA’s banned substance list
Cannabis is no longer a banned substance under the NBA’s new collective bargaining agreement. After putting a pause on testing for marijuana during the bubble, the owners and players agreed to permanently remove testing for cannabis going forward.
When NBA players light up this season, they have Kevin Durant to thank for it.
A conversation between Durant and NBA commissioner Adam Silver led to cannabis being removed from the banned substance list.
Many wrestling fans and people in the wrestling world expected Cody Rhodes to end Roman Reigns’s lengthy title run at WrestleMania last April.
Rhodes had a great story in that he was not happy with his status in WWE, left the company, dominated the independent scene, helped start AEW and then returned to WWE a monster fan favorite. Oh, and he also happens to be the son of one of the most legendary pro wrestlers of all time in Dusty Rhodes.
But Reigns got the 1-2-3 on Rhodes at WrestleMania, and the WWE universe was shocked. And upset. Very upset.
Additional details regarding the status of Bronny James have begun to emerge Wednesday, just 48 hours after the incoming USC freshman and eldest son of Lakers star LeBron James was rushed to the hospital after suffering a cardiac arrest during a practice.
The incident occurred just before 9:30 a.m. local time Monday at the USC basketball facility in Los Angeles, according to a report from the Los Angeles Times.

The Red Bull driver opened up about silly season, the pressure of F1, and driving next to Max Verstappen
It’s been called one of the toughest jobs in Formula 1, and even referred to as an eventual “death spiral.”
That job? The second seat at Red Bull.
That is the job currently occupied by Sergio Pérez. But as is often the case, the most popular pick for that job is one of a handful of potential new occupants, and not the person currently in the seat. Such is life in F1, and that is the place where Pérez currently finds himself.

Here’s why the Michigan football coach is set to miss the first four games of the season.
In a bit of a surprising news dump on Tuesday, the NCAA announced that they will be suspending Michigan head coach Jim Harbaugh for four games as a result of an investigation into statements he made to the NCAA, per Yahoo Sports’ Ross Dellenger.
Before Harbaugh sits out the first four games and Michigan aims to win the B1G again, here’s a brief explainer into the suspension of Harbaugh.
What did Harbaugh allegedly do?
Well, not much apparently.
Any time a nation scores its first-ever goal at a major tournament, there’s reason to celebrate. But on Wednesday against Canada, Katie McCabe made sure Ireland went into the Women’s World Cup history books in style.
After former Stanford University forward Kyra Carusa’s shot was sent out of play in the fourth minute, McCabe stepped to the corner and sent a cross into the box with her left foot.
The Irish captain’s inswinging corner soared over the defense and Canada goalkeeper Kailen Sheridan’s flailing arm, glancing off the post and into the net for the goal.

The first goal for Ireland in Women’s World Cup history is the stuff of legend
Katie McCabe scored her first goal for Ireland in a Women’s World Cup on Wednesday against Canada, a goal which will go down in history as the first ever goal scored by Ireland in a Women’s World Cup match.
And by the time the tournament is over, it may very well go down as the goal of the tournament.
