Hamlin made a clean tackle of Adam Trautman in his first defensive action since leaving the field in an ambulance in January.

The Broncos relinquished a lead they had held for most of the game, only to win it on a last-second field goal.
While there were plenty of instant classics in Week 10 on the field, it still caused plenty of fantasy panic amongst the masses off it.
The Buffalo Bills faced their get-right matchup against the Broncos and left looking worse.
Costly mistakes throughout the game and another dud performance from Josh Allen sunk the Bills against a surprisingly surging Sean Payton-led Denver Broncos.
The Broncos’ effort in the 24-22 win proved impressive. But the Bills dropping a must-win game in primetime dominated the post-game conversation. Buffalo appeared out of focus from the first snap of the game to the fourth quarter.
Bills running back James Cook turned in a rather unusual performance on Monday night, which was perfectly summed up by his 42-yard rush in the fourth quarter.
During the big run, Cook coughed up the football, only for it to fortuitously bounce right back into his hands. Cook barely needed to break stride as he regained control of the ball and continued running until Denver’s defense eventually caught up to him after a long gain that put Buffalo in position for a go-ahead touchdown (though Denver wound end up with the win after kicking a field goal as time expired).
The beautiful game delivers once again.
The Denver Broncos and Buffalo Bills played in one of…the football games this season and it culminated in one of the endings of all time.
Let’s set the scene: after a Josh Allen rushing touchdown to go up 22-21 over the Broncos (Denver missed an extra point and fumbled the snap on a field goal), the Broncos had a little over a minute left to get into field goal range and win the game. Time for a VINTAGE Russell Wilson moment.
Kinda.
“I look forward to seeing you all next year.
Buffalo committed four turnovers and had two crucial defensive penalties on Denver’s final drive. Will Lutz’s short field goal gave Denver its third straight win after a 1-5 start.
Rick Pitino’s return to Madison Square Garden as coach of St. John’s was highly anticipated. Unfortunately for the Red Storm and their fans, Michigan spoiled Pitino’s celebrated home debut with a decisive 89–73 victory on Monday night.
The Wolverines’ backcourt of point guard Dug McDaniel and transfer Nimari Burnett combined for 47 points. St. John’s had no answer on defense, which Pitino expressed surprise about after the game.
“What we didn’t expect was to get dominated by their point guard the way he dominated us tonight,” said Pitino, per Fox Sports’ John Fanta.
Patrick Mahomes showed off some of his incredible game knowledge during his appearance on ESPN’s Manningcast during the Broncos–Bills clash on Monday night.
Speaking with Peyton and Eli Manning, Mahomes stunned viewers at home by expertly predicting the exact sequence of plays Denver would use in order to score its first touchdown of the game.
When the Broncos got within striking distance of the end zone, Mahomes forecasted that the team would run the ball twice before executing a play-action pass to put six points on the board.
