It’s been a nightmare of a season for the San Jose Sharks. After starting the year with 10 straight losses, San Jose finally got in the win column with back-to-back victories last week. But the short winning streak wasn’t the start of a turnaround. The Sharks got blown out 5–0 against the Golden Knights on Friday and lost again on Sunday against the Ducks.
So it’s clear that things aren’t going the Sharks’ way this season, but at one point in Sunday’s loss, things really weren’t going their way.

CeeDee Lamb has no problem discussing the topic of the NFL’s best wide receivers. This is primarily due to the fact that he doesn’t view it as a debate—the Cowboys star wideout believes he’s the best in the business, hands down.
Lamb’s eye-opening boast comes after he plundered the Giants for 11 receptions, 151 receiving yards and a touchdown in an emphatic 49–17 Dallas win Sunday at AT&T Stadium.
“I’m one of them ones,” Lamb said, per ESPN’s Todd Archer. “I’m the top receiver in this game, and there’s no question about it.
Evans’ drop was so bad he couldn’t even believe it.
Mike Evans was a BEAST on Sunday, finishing with six catches for 143 yards and a touchdown in the Buccaneers’ 20-6 win over the Titans — but he also gave us one of the worst drops of the season.

This is about as easy as you’re ever going to see for a receiver. He’s in behind everyone, no defender is remotely close, and he just muffed the whole thing.
LSU and UConn, the top two teams in the country, both lost in the first week and sparked a shuffle in the rankings. Yahoo Sports’ Cassandra Negley put Iowa at No.
You can sit around and laugh as the Aggies’ latest gamut — hiring, and then extending, Jimbo Fisher to massive contracts — but it’s possible no program tries harder in the nation.
Rory McIlroy could only stay quiet for so long. He finally shared his full version of the story about the Patrick Cantlay and Joe LaCava drama that spilled over into the parking lot at the Ryder Cup. The beef appears to be squashed, but McIlroy has made it abundantly clear that he is not a fan of Cantlay.
While McIlroy’s tell-all about the Ryder Cup deserves plenty of attention, what Camilo Villegas was able to accomplish in Bermuda this week on the PGA Tour should be tabbed as the golf story of 2023.
Me’Arah O’Neal, the youngest child of Shaquille, committed to an SEC school for her upcoming women’s college basketball career. But she didn’t pick LSU, her father’s alma mater.
Instead, Me’Arah chose to take her talents to The Swamp and join the Florida Gators, LSU’s fierce rival. She officially reached her decision on Sunday, saying that Florida felt like the best fit.
“I went on the Florida visit, and I had a feeling that’s where I belonged,” Me’Arah said. “And that I was going to be most successful if I went to go play at Florida.

The fabled “Kiss Cam” at sporting events can be a cute moment with your partner or an awkward disaster. One couple, however, turned it into a viral moment with an obscene gesture during a recent Warriors game.
The Warriors were playing host to the Timberwolves at Chase Center on Sunday night, and during the “Kiss Cam” scoreboard segment, the camera stopped on a young couple, and the woman can be seen reacting shocked to see herself on the big screen. She couldn’t help but smile while her date laughs awkwardly at the hilarity of it all.

The energy in the locker room was palpable postgame, as DeMeco Ryans addressed his Texans squad. And the pop came when the first-year coach affirmed his players of one thing: They’d come to Cincinnati to challenge an AFC power. What followed was no fluke.
“We come on the road to beat a really good team,” Ryans said, his trademark, megawatt smile stretching ear to ear.
