For weeks, fans of the Atlanta Falcons have wanted one thing—a goal-line carry for rookie running back Bijan Robinson.
The Falcons spent the eighth overall pick in the 2023 NFL Draft on Robinson, but despite investing so much equity in their rookie running back, head coach Arthur Smith seemed hesitant to give him the ball in the red zone.
Last week, the tension boiled over after the Falcons turned to running back Tyler Allgeier and even tight end Jonnu Smith for carries at the goal line, but not Robinson.

The 26-year-old won in her first start at The Annika driven by Gainbridge at the Pelican Golf Club with a final score of 19-under. Vu defeated runner-ups Alison Lee and Azahara Munoz by three shots.

We close out Week 10 action with a primetime matchup in Buffalo on Monday night. The Bills are trying to get back on top of the AFC East while the Broncos are trying to get out of the bottom in the AFC West.
The oddsmakers at SI Sportsbook list Buffalo (5-4) as favored 7.5 point favorites over the Broncos (3-5). The point total of 47.5 is fairly high compared to other matchups in Week 10.
The NFL is going soft. There’s seemingly nothing more important right now than “player safety.” Or, at least, the appearance that they care about player safety. On Sunday, NFL referees ejected Washington Commanders cornerback Emmanuel Forbes after a helmet-to-helmet hit on Seattle Seahawks wide receiver Tyler Lockett.
The hit deserved a flag, no question, and referees threw one. They called Forbes for a 15-yard personal foul for unnecessary roughness. Fine. But then, after a review by off-site officials, refs sent Forbes to the locker room.
Bailey Zappe, backup QB and possible Week 12 starter for the Patriots, wasn’t happy with the game’s final and strange sequence Sunday to seal the loss for New England.
Inserted at a moment of crisis after Mac Jones threw a fourth-quarter interception, Zappe commanded the offense with less than two minutes left in the game and a four-point deficit against the Indianapolis Colts.
Zappe pushed the Patriots’ comeback efforts from their own 40-yard line before a scramble fake punt resulted in the backup QB tossing a game-sealing turnover.
The Steelers outlasted the Packers in a back-and-forth affair in Week 10, winning 23–19 to move to 6–3 on the season.
The Pittsburgh rushing game was the star of the show, with Jaylen Warren and Najee Harris rushing for 101 yards and 82 yards respectively, as well as a touchdown each.
The Packers had a chance to pull out a last-second victory, but Steelers safety Damontae Kazee came down with an interception to seal the win for the home crowd. While a brief scuffle broke out on the sideline after the game-ending turnover, the result was set in stone.
Vikings quarterback Josh Dobbs isn’t in the MVP conversation right now, but with everything he’s done this season, I wouldn’t put it past him to work his way up. He’s certainly in the running for Comeback Player of the Year after guiding the Vikings to a 27–19 win over the Saints.
Dobbs had two touchdowns, one rushing and one passing.

The 49ers beat the Jaguars 34–3 in Jacksonville, a loss so bad that some might be wondering whether Trevor Lawrence & Co. are pretenders in the AFC.

First Quarter: The Texas A&M Conundrum
Amid what has been an unusually calm season down South, the SEC finally resumed acting up Sunday: Texas A&M (1) bit a $75 million bullet and fired Jimbo Fisher a day after he won a league game by 41 points with his third-string quarterback. The timing is weird but the result was inevitable, once the school reconciled with the fiscal irresponsibility of paying by far the biggest buyout in college sports history.
As Aaron Rodgers’ recovery seems to be happening at record pace, New York Jets fans are antsy for their quarterback to return to the field. But according to Chad Ochocinco, Rodgers needs to slow his roll.
The former Cincinnati Bengals wide receiver told TMZ Sports he’s impressed by Rodgers’ journey so far. But he’s warning the future Hall of Famer not to come back in 2023.

“What Aaron’s doing is commendable. It’s commendable, obviously — healing and rehabbing and being able to do what he’s doing at a record pace,” Ochocinco said.
The Legend of C.J. Stroud grows every week. Last Sunday, Stroud set an NFL rookie record with 470 passing yards in a game and threw a game-winning touchdown with under 10 seconds left against Tampa Bay. Against the Cincinnati Bengals, Stroud showed his rookie side late.
But, yet again, his Rookie of the Year side shown brighter.
How any NFL player upsets Stroud for Rookie of the Year honors seems inconceivable at this moment. Forget that, Stroud is firmly in the MVP discussion.
Though, he nearly threw the game away with a terrible decision late in Sunday’s contest.
