To wit, he posted several angry messages to his Instagram story, stating that the team had locked him out of its workout facility. The Braves may be the best team in baseball, and the Dodgers may be the most star-studded, but the Orioles are the team of the moment. No team better represents how baseball sharply turned an aesthetic corner this year than Baltimore.
The Orioles are the sixth-highest scoring team in baseball, and yet they are 17th in home runs. How do they do it? The most interesting AP Poll of the year might be the one released after the first week of the season.
By this point, the initial rankings have been ingrained in fans’ minds for weeks. It’s the first opportunity to reevaluate college football’s pecking order based on data from the current season rather than last season, and the outsized importance of first impressions to voters can lead to giant rises and falls in the polls.
Brett McMurphy, a veteran college football reporter for the Action Network, was subject to one such first impression. In response to No.

Talk about highs and lows…
