Let’s rank Duke’s best recruits of the one-and-done era after Cooper Flagg’s commitment.
The Duke Blue Devils have maintained their dominance in men’s college basketball recruiting even after the retirement of Mike Krzyzewski. New head coach Jon Scheyer landed the No. 1 ranked recruiting class in the country in his first year in charge with the class of 2022, and his haul in the class of 2023 ranked second in the country only behind Kentucky.
On Monday, Duke landed its next superstar by securing a commitment from Cooper Flagg, the consensus No.

More photos have hit the web of the man many believe is Connor Stalions on the CMU sidelines.
College football fans on X went wild when a photo went viral showing a man many believe is Stalions decked out in Chippewas gear, sunglasses, a hat and sporting a goatee on the sidelines of the Michigan/Central Michigan game to start the year. It poured fuel on the fire as Stalions and Michigan are engulfed by a massive sign stealing and cheating scandal.

Bryce Young’s connection with Adam Thielen has been one of the few bright spots for the Panthers this season.
The duo paved the way for the Panthers (1–6) to record their first win of the season after a clutch fourth-down conversion in the 15–13 victory against the Texans last week. Young flashed why he was the No. 1 pick in the 2023 draft during the game-winning drive, and was put in a position to succeed on the fourth-and-2 play from the Houston 47-yard line to eventually set up Eddy Pineiro’s deciding 23-yard field goal as time expired.
Tyler from Spartanburg has had a rough couple days after arguing with Dabo Swinney.
Tyler went mega-viral when he decided to call into the Clemson coach’s radio show, and ask why he deserves to make so much money if the team is 4-4 through eight games.
The two-time national champion cut loose in epic fashion, and went scorched Earth on Tyler from Spartanburg.
You can listen to the full exchange below. It’s without question one of the most incredible moments of the season.
Dabo Swinney gets fired up on his radio call-in show after obnoxious caller asks how he has a $10.
PHOENIX — Smallball took a beating. World Series Game 4 made for a forgettable, unaesthetic evening, what with its 13 pitchers and an 11–7 final in favor of Texas that camouflaged the rout that it truly was.
It seems its entire purpose was to snicker at the over-the-top love for smallball in Game 2, when Arizona joined the 1908 Cubs, masters of the Deadball Era and of Tinkers-to-Evers-to-Chance mellifluous fame, as the only teams with 12 singles, three sac bunts and one stolen base in a World Series game.
All year long, Rangers embraced a next-man-up philosophy. Game 4 of the World Series was no different.

Josh McDaniels and GM David Ziegler are out in Las Vegas
The 2023 NFL season now has its first major coaching move.
Following a 3-5 start, the Las Vegas Raiders announced early Wednesday morning that the team has parted ways with head coach Josh McDaniels, and general manager David Ziegler. The Raiders are coming off a pair of losses, first a 30-12 loss to the Chicago Bears, who were starting undrafted free agent Tyson Bagent at quarterback, and then a 26-14 loss to the Detroit Lions on Monday Night Football.
The Raiders fired coach Josh McDaniels and general manager David Ziegler on Tuesday night amid a 3-5 start to the season. The team plans to name linebackers coach Antonio Pierce as interim coach, sources told ESPN’s Adam Schefter.
With ALCS MVP Adolis García sidelined, Travis Jankowski got the chance of a lifetime and delivered two key hits in a Game 4 win that put Texas on the verge of a championship.
Losing has consequences. Las Vegas Raiders head coach Josh McDaniels and general manager Dave Ziegler found that out Tuesday night when they were fired.
Raiders owner Mark Davis, unhappy about the Raiders 3-5 record, ineptitude on offense, and two-game losing skid, decided to move on from McDaniels and Ziegler.
The club owner apparently saw the frustration of this season boiling over in the locker room and shared the sentiment. And he saw no way to correct matters with McDaniels and Ziegler.
The Raiders announced the moves on social media.
