A video capturing Patrick Mahomes encouraging his teammates during Sunday’s Super Bowl LIX loss has sparked debate over a seemingly awkward moment with Chiefs running back Samaje Perine.
In the clip, viewers suggested Mahomes may have intentionally snubbed Perine, fueling discussions about possible bad blood.
Coming to put any tensions at ease was the 29-year-old Perine, who addressed the moment as more buzz grew from NFL fans.
Perine addressed the clip on Instagram, reassuring fans that there’s no animosity between him and Mahomes.
A former Nashville firefighter demoted over his social media posts about Black Lives Matter has gotten a big payout in his civil rights lawsuit against the Metropolitan Government of Nashville and Davidson County and they could have saved a boatload of cash had they accepted a previous settlement.

The Los Angeles Dodgers officially clinched the 2025 World Series on Tuesday, becoming the first team to repeat since the late 1990’s New York Yankees.
How? By re-signing Clayton Kershaw, securing the return of one of the best pitchers in baseball history and a Dodgers legend.
That’s the reaction, at least, from fans of other teams, including those of the New York Mets. Even though Kershaw’s typically been viewed, inaccurately, as a postseason “choker,” it was the final straw for those convinced the Dodgers are an unbeatable juggernaut.
Tuesday was Media Day ahead of the NHL‘s 4 Nation’s Face-Off which gets underway on Wednesday with Canada taking on Sweden.
However, if I gave you a thousand guesses, I don’t think you’d be able to come up with what fans were talking about one day before the tournament.
It wasn’t Canada’s goaltending situation.
It wasn’t the ridiculous top power play units that are coming together for this tournament.
Instead, it was the necks of Winnipeg Jets stars Kyle Connor and Connor Hellebuyck.
