Iowa offensive coordinator Brian Ferentz is not expected to return to his role with the program for the 2024 season, according to David Eickholt of HawkeyeInsider.
Brian, the son of Hawkeyes football coach Kirk Ferentz, has served as Iowa’s offensive coordinator since 2017. Currently, Iowa (6–2, 3–2) ranks No. 118 out of 130 teams in scoring offense, averaging 19.5 points per contest this season. 
Iowa’s struggles offensively date back to the previous two seasons. In 2022, the Hawkeyes placed 123rd out of 131 FBS teams and sat at 99th out of 130 programs in ’21.

Diamondbacks outfielder Tommy Pham had an amazing Game 2 on Saturday night as he went 4-for-4 and scored two runs, but his performance was slightly overcast by a comment Rangers pitching coach Mike Maddux made towards Pham.
Fox cameras caught Maddux saying “Atta boy, you dumb f—!” towards Pham after he was picked off on second base in the sixth inning.
After the game, Pham told USA Today Sports’s Bob Nightengale how “shocked” he was that his former pitching coach (while both were on the Cardinals) would say something like that towards him.

Cooper Flagg, the nation’s top basketball prospect in the class of 2024, revealed his commitment to play for Duke on Monday in a SLAM magazine article. After the news broke of his intention to play for the Blue Devils instead of Connecticut, the response on social media was mixed.
Flagg cemented his blue-chip status in July at the Nike EYBL Peach Jam, averaging 25.4 points, 13.0 rebounds and 5.7 assists per game. But his decision to join the Blue Devils apparently isn’t popular outside of the Duke fan base, and that opinion was voiced loud and clear on social media.

The Michigan Wolverines and Harbaugh are engulfed by chaos amid allegations the program had a massive sign stealing operation.
One of the latest developments was a stunning report from the Wall Street Journal published over the weekend that Michigan had pulled a potential extension offer for Harbaugh. There had been previous reports the school planned on making the program’s head coach the highest paid guy in the Big Ten.
However, Harbaugh says it’s not true.

The NBA revealed that each team will have a unique in-season tournament court this year on Monday, and fans were left conflicted.
Each newly designed court is bold and bright as the courts showcase the team’s colors. For instance, the Heat’s court design will be fully red, while the Knicks will play on an orange court.
Some teams will have a more throwback or alternate look, such as the Suns with the “El Valle” purple and blue court or Portland’s “Rip City” court.
The in-season tournament is in its inaugural year, and it begins on Friday, Nov.
