The embarrassment is real.
Stephen Curry can be ice cold when he wants to be, and on Sunday night against Dillon Brooks he was sub-zero. In one exchange Steph put Brooks in a blender and didn’t pull the power cord to create the most demoralizing video of all time.

We can give a small pass to getting lost off the screen, because that happens to everyone.

Former Spanish Football Federation president Luis Rubiales has been banned from all soccer-related activities for three years because of his actions after the 2023 Women’s World Cup final, FIFA announced Monday.
FIFA had originally suspended Rubiales for 90 days for kissing forward Jenni Hermoso on the lips, grabbing his crotch, and throwing another player over his shoulder after Spain’s 1-0 win over England in Sydney on Aug. 20. His actions led to several investigations into his conduct and he eventually stepped down from his position on Sept.

Rick Pitino took over the St. John’s men’s basketball program in March with high expectations for a team that’s struggled in recent years.
Pitino, who has two NCAA tournament titles and seven Final Four appearances on his résumé, got hit by a harsh reality check on Sunday as the Red Storm lost 63–59 to Division II Pace University in an exhibition game.

Ryan Blaney is in the damn show, which, for us, means Hooters Gianna Tulio is officially a NASCAR championship contending WAG.
It’s been a long, grinding road for our queen, but she’s in the dance and now anything can happen. What a time to be alive!
Welcome to the penultimate Monday of the 2023 NASCAR season. Hard to believe, but we’re just six days away from crowning a champion. Seems like just yesterday we were down in Daytona slugging $20 Busch Lights together, and now here we are — the final week of the season.

The oddsmakers have absolutely no respect for Iowa’s ability to score, and for good reason.
The Hawkeyes play the Northwestern Wildcats at home this upcoming Saturday, and prepare for some ugly football.
In fact, oddsmakers expect the game to be so ugly that the over/under is a historic low. The over/under line at Circa opened at 29.5 for the Big Ten game.
That’s a record low for an opening over/under line in the modern era, according to The Athletic. It’s somehow even lower than the 31-point over/under that opened prior to Iowa losing to Minnesota.

The Jets’ win over the Giants on Sunday afternoon was just about as ugly a game as you’ll ever see, and one former Jets player made sure the world knew it. After the win, ex-offensive tackle Willie Colon and his fellow analysts on SNY’s Jets Post Game Live were utterly disgusted in what they just witnessed.
“I have five-stage diarrhea,” Colon said. “It’s not because of the Chinese food. It’s because my stomach simply can’t hold it anymore.”
The game, in which the Jets won 13–10 in overtime, featured a total of just 445 yards of offense between both teams.

This is what homecoming is really all about.
Homecoming on college campuses is for two things: one, for the university to bring in prospective students to show how much fun they have on campus, and two, for families to come in and enjoy time with their children. Especially when the parent is an alumni at the same school, it can lead to some memorable moments.
Such is the case at Florida A&M, who celebrated their homecoming this weekend.

The Los Angeles Chargers dominated the Chicago Bears on the football field Sunday night, but truly delivered the knockout blow with a savage tweet trolling the lowly Bears right after the final whistle.
The team created the perfect meme, combining clips from Starship Troopers and a NSFW Tim Robinson quote from I Think You Should Leave to expertly chide the Bears while giving a pat on the back for what was perhaps the Chargers’ best performance of the season.
