With just over 24 hours remaining until the NBA draft, signs appear to be pointing toward Trail Blazers point guard Damian Lillard remaining in Portland.
“The Blazers have shut down anybody who has tried to call about the possibility of trying to trade for [Lillard],” ESPN’s Adrian Wojnarowski said Wednesday afternoon in an appearance on The Pat McAfee Show.
Lillard, 32, has been linked to the Eastern Conference champion Heat this offseason. The future Hall of Famer averaged a career-high 32.2 points per game in 2023 over 58 games.

Max Kellerman, Keshawn Johnson, and Jay Williams had to know this was coming, but ESPN has reportedly axed their morning radio show.
According to The New York Post, the network has decided to boot the Keyshawn, JWill, & Max show, which occupied one of the network’s morning radio spots.
The expectation is that despite the end of their radio show, all three will stay at ESPN… for now.
That’s because, as everyone and their mother knows, the Worldwide Leader in Sports is undergoing some restructuring. And the cancellation of the show is being blamed on that.

As part of a large-scale company restructuring, ESPN is reportedly canceling its national morning radio show featuring Max Kellerman, Keyshawn Johnson and Jay Williams, according to Andrew Marchand of the New York Post. The network is also expected to undergo “significant on-air layoffs” in the weeks to come.
The decision does not mean that the trio won’t still be with the company, though Marchand speculates that Kellerman’s high salary might put him in jeopardy. Johnson also signed a four-year, $18 million deal with ESPN last year.

The Celtics, Clippers and Wizards are reportedly discussing a three-team trade that would send Kristaps Porziņģis to Boston, Marcus Morris and draft compensation to Washington and Malcolm Brogdon to Los Angeles, according to The Athletic’s Sham Charania.
Charania previously reported that Boston and Washington have been in discussion about a potential “framework” for a deal with Porziņģis, who has a $36 million player option for the 2023–24 NBA season. As of now, all sides are still working through details and Porziņģis’s player option, according to Charania.
