Patrick Mahomes sent NFL fans into a frenzy Thursday night after delivering an epic response to Ja’Marr Chase during the Chiefs’ private ring ceremony to commemorate their Super Bowl LIV victory over the Eagles. 
Earlier this week, Chase decided to shake the table after the Bengals receiver picked his quarterback and friend Joe Burrow as the NFL’s best QB. The star wideout then followed his pick by saying “Pat Who?” when asked why he didn’t agree with Burrow naming the reigning NFL and Super Bowl MVP as the league’s top dog.

The 2023 Men’s College World Series is set to get underway
The field is down to eight, and the 2023 Men’s College World Series is set to get underway on Friday from Charles Schwab Field in Omaha, Nebraska. The Regionals and Super Regionals are in the books, and 5 of the top 16 teams — No. 1 Wake Forest, No. 2 Florida, No. 5 LSU, No. 7 Virginia, No. 8 Stanford — advanced to Omaha.
They’ll meet up with the three teams ranked outside the top 16 who advanced, TCU, Oral Roberts, and Tennessee.

The Chiefs celebrated a ring ceremony for the team Thursday after winning a second ring under Reid’s leadership, but he didn’t wear either of his two rings.
Why not? His answer was simple. His wedding ring for his wife Tammy is his the only ring that he’s interested in having on his fingers.

Dustin Johnson came out red hot on Thursday at the 123rd U.S. Open. He posted a 64 and is only two shots off the lead entering Friday.
Dustin Johnson didn’t lay eyes on Los Angeles Country Club until the Monday before the 123rd U.S. Open. That didn’t stop him from shooting a 64 to sit T3 on the leaderboard. The unusually low scoring shocked everyone, but Johnson didn’t mind how L.A. Country Club played in the first round.
Afterwards, he met with media to answer questions and revealed a conclusive reason for the history made Thursday.

Henderson’s red-hot June continued on Thursday
Thursday was getaway day in Baltimore, as the Toronto Blue Jays and the Baltimore Orioles met in the early afternoon for the rubber game of their three game series. Minutes after first pitch, infielder Gunnar Henderson strode to the plate in the bottom of the first with two outs and outfielder Anthony Santander on second base.
Henderson stepped into the box to face left-handed pitcher Yusei Kikuchi.

Every time the United State Men’s National Team takes the pitch against Mexico things turn up a notch, but tensions hit a fever pitch during Thursday night’s CONCACAF Nations League semifinals. The USMNT routed its rival 3-0, but that was far from the story of the night.
The match featured four red cards, two players from each side being ejected, homophobic chants from Mexican supporters, and an early whistle to end the match with time remaining.
Homophobic chants were reportedly heard throughout the contest, which was being held at Allegiant Stadium in Las Vegas.
