The hype was real, the game delivered. Washington and Oregon squared-off in a showdown of undefeated teams and while the winner was the Huskies, the Pac-12 continues to reign.
We listened to the talk all week about whether or not these two teams could live up to the bill, and boy did they prove their point. A back-and-forth slugfest that included both Michael Penix Jr. and Bo Nix trading punches, ended with Oregon missing a 42-yard field goal to force overtime.
Oregon, trailing by 10 points in the fourth quarter fought back to take the lead.

Logan Paul emerged victorious from his fight with Dillon Danis, though it ended rather chaotically.
During the sixth round, Paul knocked Danis onto the mat and took an extra swing at his opponent. This infuriated Danis, who got up and rushed over to take some extra swipes at Paul in his corner.
Ring security jumped in to break up the fight, but by then tensions reached the boiling point. People in Paul’s corner joined into the scuffle, and a furious melee ensued.

No. 7 Washington quarterback Michael Penix Jr. entered Saturday’s game against No. 8 Oregon as the favorite to win the Heisman.
With his performance against the Ducks, he might have just put one hand on the trophy.
The teams had traded blows for the better part of four quarters when the Huskies defense made a stop on fourth down with just two minutes left to get the ball back to their offense trailing 33–29.
With the game on the line, Penix was brilliant, needing just two plays to put Washington back on top.

There’s a long, long way to go in this NHL season, but before we’ve even gotten a week into it we’ve got a serious contender for Hit of the Year courtesy of Detroit’s Lucas Raymond on Tampa Bay’s Mikey Eyssimont.
The Lighting visited Little Caesars Arena for an Atlantic Division clash, that had some serious teeth a few seasons ago. Since then the Red Wings have gone through a rebuild while the Lighting won a couple of Cups.
However, these two teams still know how to get physical.

SEATTLE — The first in a series of Pac-12 showcase games lived up to its billing, with No. 8 Oregon and No. 7 Washington playing a thrilling, high-flying game that wasn’t decided until the final minutes. Another questionable fourth-down decision by Oregon coach Dan Lanning handed the Huskies the ball near midfield, and they quickly drove for the go-ahead touchdown with 98 seconds remaining on their way to a 36–33 victory.
Oregon moved into field-goal range in the final minute of regulation. Kicker Camden Lewis was wide from 43 yards at the final gun.

The Logan Paul vs. Dillon Danis fight ended in a chaotic brawl on Saturday from AO Arena in Manchester, England.
Paul defeated Dillon Danis via disqualification after Danis attempted a guillotine move near the end of the sixth round.
After the referee stopped the fight due to the illegal move, Danis charged after Paul. Security joined members of both teams in the ring attempting to prevent the two fighters from any further combat after the match was stopped.

Logan Paul, the YouTuber-turned-WWE wrestler who has dabbled in boxing in recent years, defeated mixed martial artist Dillon Danis by disqualification after Danis attempted to apply a guillotine chokehold on Paul in the sixth round of a boxing match in Manchester, England on Saturday.
Danis, a former ju jitsu world champion, was disqualified after making a second attempt to apply a mixed martial arts maneuver on Paul. In the fifth round Danis attempted, and failed, to take down Paul by the legs, costing him a point deduction.

The aftermath of the World Cup has been quite dramatic for the USMNT.
Head coach Gregg Berhalter was essentially suspended after an incident from his past was brought to light by an outside party. Turns out that outside party was former friend and teammate Claudio Reyna, father of current USMNT star Gio Reyna. Frustrated with Gio’s lack of playing time in the World Cup, the Reyna family essentially went after Berhalter.
After releasing a public statement and being cleared by U.S. Soccer though, he was rehired to lead the team ahead of the 2026 World Cup.

After three-putting the par-5 9th hole on Saturday at the Shriners Children’s Open, Joel Dahmen wanted to go home.
He wanted someone else to play the back nine for him.
“I told Geno [Bonnalie, my caddy], I’m done,” Dahmen said after his round. “I’m impatient, and I’m grumpy, and then good things happened. Made a good birdie on 11.
