The Pittsburgh Panthers football coach fired some unprovoked shots at the Colorado leader’s use of the transfer portal.

Now that the Vikings are officially expected to release Dalvin Cook, the veteran running back instantly becomes one of the more intriguing names available.
It’s a little early in the process to tell how many teams are interested in Cook, but at least one team seems to be exploring the possibility. On Friday, Jets coach Robert Saleh was asked about Cook, and he implied that the team will look into signing him.

The men’s singles semifinal match at the French Open between Novak Djokovic and Carlos Alcaraz delivered a shot for the ages Friday, and sports fans everywhere loved it.
Midway through the second set, Alcaraz pulled off a highlight-reel shot that left Djokovic with no choice but to tip his cap to the 20-year-old sensation. 
During a very good rally, Alcaraz sprinted to chase down the ball and delivered a perfect shot down the line with his back turned to Djokovic. It’s a shot you’d have to see to believe and produced quite the applause from the crowd at Roland Garros.

Oakland Athletics owner John Fisher thought this would be easy. He’d twiddle his fingers for a while in the Bay Area trying to get a new stadium, and if that didn’t materialize he’d bolt for Las Vegas with MLB’s blessing — getting richer in the process. Fisher’s assumption was that with the Raiders’ move, and the Golden Knights selling out their arena, it was going to be simple to get a boatload of taxpayer money to build a ballpark, with private investors falling over themselves to get a piece of the action.

Rio Gomez first home pitching appearance at the Triple A level started with a bang.
Gomez, a 36th-round pick out of Arizona by the Red Sox in 2017, is the son of longtime ESPN baseball reporter Pedro Gomez, who died of a heart attack on Feb. 7, 2021. 
The younger Gomez has been working his way through Boston’s minor league system for the past six years, beginning this season at Double A Portland. He was called up to Triple A Worcester earlier this month and made his first start against the Louisville Bats on June 3.

Bijan Robinson is all the rage in the world of fantasy football. The eighth overall pick of the Falcons in the 2023 NFL draft, he’s already a locked-in first-round fantasy pick across the board. His best-ball average draft position at Underdog is 7.8, and he’s the second running back coming off the board behind just Christian McCaffrey.
All the hype dates back to his impressive collegiate career.
Robinson was sensational in his final two seasons at Texas, putting up a combined 2,707 rushing yards and 29 rushing touchdowns. He also averaged nearly six yards per attempt.

Even with the Heat trailing 2–1 in the NBA Finals to the Nuggets, Kendrick Perkins is sticking with his original pick to raise the Larry O’Brien Trophy.
