Back in late 2020, when the prospect of Giannis Antetokounmpo passing on a five-year, $228 million supermax extension was still a concern in Milwaukee, the Bucks felt compelled to convince their superstar there was no need to eventually test the free-agent market.

Not since Drake’s habit of mushing teams he bets on or cheers for has a musician or band affected sports the way that post-grunge icons Creed have in recent weeks.
Seemingly out of nowhere, Scott Stapp and Co. have been front and center in the sports world, and it looks like they worked their musical magic for the Minnesota Vikings.
That’s the second time this month.
Earlier this month, Kirk Cousins cited Creed as a driving force behind the team’s win over the Chicago Bears.

The Texas Rangers peppered home runs into the Minute Maid Park bleachers throughout Games 6 and 7 of the ALCS, helping overcome a 3–2 series deficit in improbable fashion to clinch a trip to the World Series. But one homer in particular really caught fans’ attention because of one fan’s reaction (or lack thereof) to the ball landing inches from her face.
Jonah Heim’s two-run blast in the fourth inning of Game 6 barely cleared the wall in right field, flying just above the outstretched glove of Astros outfielder Kyle Tucker to give the Rangers a 3–1 lead.

The admiration out of New York for Joel Embiid is no secret, and while the 76ers haven’t shown any interest in trading the reigning MVP, it hasn’t quieted the chatter around potential trade interest from the Knicks.
While it remains unlikely that Philadelphia would move the star big man for any reason short of a trade demand, the latest report points to New York being willing to put together a big package if Embiid were to be put on the block, according to Keith Pompey of The Philadelphia Inquirer.

Peyton used kids to explain pre-snap concepts, and it was magic.
The Manningcast remains the bet way to watch Monday Night Football, and Peyton is trying new ways to illustrated advanced concepts. Including child labor. On Monday night all Eli could do was watch while Peyton used children to explain football concepts, and honestly it was great.

Everything is bigger in Texas – including the loyalty and general decency of every Texan – which should make the fact that very few professional golfers from the Lonestar State accepted offers to join LIV Golf.
That’s a legitimate message that multiple professional golfers and media members from Texas have recently shared, that Texans are just too good of people to accept millions of dollars from a Saudi-backed league. Basically, the theory is that Texans have morals, golfers from other states simply do not.

The Rangers defeated the Astros in emphatic fashion Monday night in what ended up being a lopsided Game 7 to book a trip to the World Series. On the way to the pennant, two Houston fans caught the eyes of fans across the county for their heartbreak.
