These videos are the only good thing about the Falcons this season
In Sunday’s loss to the Washington Commanders, veteran defensive lineman Calais Campbell of the Atlanta Falcons reached an NFL milestone, as he recorded his 100th career sack.
And now that moment has received some special treatment, courtesy of the incredible camera footage the Falcons have shared this season.
We have seen this before, with plays involving rookie running back Bijan Robinson as well as an incredible catch from Drake London.

1. Al Michaels appeared on Monday’s Jimmy Kimmel Live! and the host wasted no time getting into the topic of Taylor Swift.
Michaels had told me before last Thursday’s Broncos-Chiefs game that Amazon would show the pop star in moderation. He expanded on that philosophy with Kimmel.
“We had to be judicious,” said Michaels. “We had the game last Thursday night in Kansas City. We knew she’s going to be there. How much do you show her? She’d been on twice, and football fans were going, ‘ENOUGH!’ But we were praying she’d come in the booth and sing for us.

The NBA regular season hasn’t even started yet, but we already have a “Dunk of the Year” nominee, courtesy of Houston Rockets rookie Cam Whitmore.
Whitmore, whose draft-night fall from being a potential top-5 pick to landing with Houston at No. 20 was one of the biggest surprises of the draft, showed off his incredible athleticism during a preseason matchup with the Spurs on Monday night with a thundering transition dunk. Whitmore led the break in transition and sprinted down the lane, nearly jumping over Spurs veteran Doug McDermott to throw down an incredible jam.

Don’t look now but Bill Belichick is only a handful of losses away from becoming the all-time leader as a head coach in NFL history.
If you’re like me that might come as a shock. I just assumed that Belichick was always Belichick and that he and the Patriots were always going to be annoyingly winning year in and year out. But if you take a step back and actually think about it, Belichick hasn’t been that good in recent years ever since Tom Brady departed – and this season is making that more evident than ever before.
Belichick’s career head coaching record is 299-157.

The performance by Washington QB Michael Penix Jr. last Saturday could be called a “Heisman-defining” moment, but considering he puts up video game-type numbers every week, it’s hard not to show love to the full scope of his work. But the game against Oregon was certainly the biggest test Penix and the Huskies have faced this year.
This is why when Washington was behind 33–29 with roughly 3:30 remaining and Oregon in possession during the fourth quarter, a clip of Penix on the sideline quickly picked up steam.

It wasn’t over when Kyle Schwarber hammered the first pitch he saw into the right field bleachers so hard the Diamondbacks outfielders never moved. It just felt that way.
The record will reflect that it took the Phillies two hours and 42 minutes to defeat Arizona 5–3 in Game 1 of the National League Championship Series. But the truth is everyone knew the outcome by the time Schwarber’s missile landed. This was perhaps the least close 5–3 baseball game ever played.

Hitting a home run on the first pitch you see in the #NLCS? Totally Kyle. pic.twitter.

As the circuit heads to Texas, Alfa Romeo is eying a move in the standings
With the Formula 1 field heading to Texas for the first of three-straight race weekends, the team with the most momentum on their side is clearly McLaren. Thanks to double-podium finishes in the last two races from Lando Norris and Oscar Piastri, the team is eying Aston Martin, and a fourth-place finish in the Constructors’ Championship, as the year winds down.

When Jamal Murray made his return to the court in the 2022–23 NBA season following the ACL injury, no one knew how good the Nuggets’ star would be.
Although he had previously shown glimpses of brilliance in the 2020 NBA playoffs, bouncing back from an injury of that caliber can be a daunting process. Now fully healthy as he enters the upcoming NBA season, Murray will seek to help Denver capture back-to-back NBA titles.
