One of the things about a tournament like the NHL‘s new 4 Nations Face-Off is that we can debate who should and should not be on the four participating teams until we pass out from a lack of oxygen.
However, there was one snub that has really never made a ton of sense and that’s Logan Thompson of the Washington Capitals, who didn’t make the cut for Team Canada.

Marina Mabrey has requested a trade from Connecticut, ESPN’s Alexa Phillippou reported on Wednesday evening. The news isn’t shocking considering her stated desire to play for a contender, but it nonetheless creates another obstacle for the Sun moving forward. If she is indeed traded, it will be the fifth trade of her WNBA career.
Mabrey, a 28-year-old guard, averaged 14.4 points and 4.1 assists per game last season.

The USGA unveiled a new exemption category for LIV golfers to earn spots at the U.S. Open but it does include a possible catch.
The United States Golf Association (USGA) made history on Wednesday by becoming the first major governing body to offer LIV golfers direct access to a major championship.

Reigning Green Bay Packers Pro Bowl player Josh Jacobs delivered some much-needed constructive criticism to his team, even if it came at the slight expense of a few teammates.
Jacobs sat down for a podcast interview this week and bluntly stated that the Packers desperately need better pass catchers, i.e., a STUD wideout to elevate their offense.
“I think we need a guy that’s proven to be a #1 WR already,” Jacobs, 26, said on the No B.S. Podcast.
One guy not too happy to hear Jacobs’ honest feedback was Packers teammate and receiver Dontayvion Wicks.
