Move over Paris, because the 2024 Olympic Games have met their match. The world’s first “Florida Man Games” are hitting St. Augustine in February and will be the sporting event of 2024.
Individuals and groups will compete in a series of intrinsically “Florida” events, and naturally an event of this magnitude requires peerless judges to decide who wins. So former American Gladiators stars “Nitro” and “Ice” will be there to decide who is the most Florida.

Phillies starting pitcher Taijuan Walker appeared upset after Philadelphia lost to the Diamondbacks in the NLCS, posting a cryptic message on social media after the team didn’t use him in the playoffs. The veteran ”liked” posts criticizing manager Rob Thomson on social media in addition to sharing his own thoughts.
“Disrespect is at an all-time high,” he wrote on social media just a few hours after the Phillies’ elimination.
During the Phillies final press conference of the season Thursday, Thomson said he has no problem with Walker’s frustration.

With his squad looking to avoid an 0-2 start, the Los Angeles Lakers forward scored 10 points in the fourth quarter en route to a 100-95 win over the Phoenix Suns. LeBron scored consecutive layups to give his team a four-point lead – 95-91 – with 41 seconds remaining, and they never trailed again.
However, the win almost didn’t happen because of a predetermined minutes restriction placed on the all-time great.

The college football story that is currently captivating the nation? It is not new Colorado head coach Deion Sanders and his effort at turning that program around. It is not a thrilling final season of Pac-12 football, or what might be one of the more wide-open national title races in recent memory.
No, it is rather the ongoing saga involving Michigan, and the sign-stealing allegations that are rocking the college football world.

I’ve got some bargain salary players for you that should return value to complete your DFS lineups. Most of my favorite players this weekend are quite pricey, so you’ll notice today’s article is perhaps even a little uglier than usual. There will be a lot of DFS entries with marquee quarterbacks on Sunday, so I’ve also included some alternatives that will be good contrarian entries because you won’t find them on many rosters.

Chris “Mad Dog” Russo made a deal and has to stick to it, according to Diamondbacks manager Torey Lovullo.
The D-Backs skipper met with the media Thursday ahead of his team’s matchup against the Rangers in Game 1 of the World Series on Friday night. During the press conference, Lovullo was asked about the sports talk radio legend’s pledging to retire if Arizona defeated the Phillies in the NLCS.
Brooks Koepka has long played the disrespect card. Even when he was rattling off four major championship victories in eight starts from 2017-2019, himself, media members, and golf fans alike still, for some reason, viewed him as an underdog.
With a fifth major championship now under his belt and three LIV wins in a year’s time, he still doesn’t think he gets the respect he deserves.
“Five majors in and I’m still not the guy. If other people had done what I’ve done, then everybody would anoint them,” Koepka recently told Golf Monthly.
We know it may be hard to believe, but there are non-Michigan college football things of note happening. The Wolverines don’t even play this week, but plenty of other teams do. Let’s pick five, shall we?

The Buckeyes and Badgers will square off Saturday night under the lights in Madison, and it will be one of the biggest games of the weekend. It’s without question Wisconsin’s biggest game of the season.
