With James Harden having one foot out the door with the 76ers amid his trade demand, former coach Doc Rivers made an appearance on ESPN’s NBA Today where he addressed what his relationship was like with the star guard. Rivers was fired after the 76ers were eliminated from the Eastern Conference semifinals by the Celtics in seven games. 
Rivers coached Harden for a season-and-a-half in Philadelphia and bluntly explained that they weren’t necessarily close. 
“It wasn’t bad, it wasn’t good,” Rivers said. “It was pretty much neutral.

Former NHL executive Brian Burke ripped the league’s choice to prohibit players from applying rainbow-colored tape to their sticks in support of the LGBTQ+ community this season.
The league outlawed the use of rainbow tape for Pride Night celebrations in a letter that was sent to each team last week. During the ’22 campaign, Pride Night became a controversial topic of discussion.

The University of Kansas has been put on a three-year probation after the results of a years-long investigation by the NCAA’s Independent Accountability Review Process (IARP) over five Level 1 (the most serious) allegations against the program and head coach Bill Self.
In 2017, KU and Self were part of a federal investigation along with multiple other schools regarding corruption charges as well as recruitment violations. Despite saying the charges were unwarranted throughout the years, Kansas did issue a four-game suspension to Self last year.
