New York Mets outfielder Jeff McNeil found himself in the middle of a brutal, one-man comedy of errors on Tuesday night.
The Mets were on the road visiting the Atlanta Braves when in the eighth inning Braves left fielder Eddie Rosario sent Mets pitcher Adam Ottavino’s 1-2 pitch to left field.
McNeil fielded the high fly ball off the Truist Park wall. He first tried to barehand the ball but couldn’t get a grasp on it. He used his glove the next time, only he muffed the exchange to his throwing hand.
That’s less than ideal, but it happens.

Wednesday’s game between the Pirates and A’s marked the last time this season the two sides would play each other. So, naturally, it was the perfect time for a good old fashion standoff.

The world of professional golf has been flipped upside down with the merger between the PGA Tour and LIV Golf. While the game of golf itself (hopefully) remains the same, many changes are inevitably on the horizon, and one may be Greg Norman losing his seat at the table.
Norman was named the CEO of LIV ahead of its inaugural tournament in 2022. While he was incredibly vocal with his opinions about the state of the professional game a year ago, he’s taken a more hands-offish approach in 2023.

The third-ranked golfer in the world and the face of the PGA Tour had an entertaining press conference ahead of the RBC Canadian Open.
Rory McIlroy has never had any interest in the Saudi-backed LIV Golf.
Nor did LIV Golf have any interest in him, according to McIlroy.
“I was never offered any money [from LIV],” McIlroy said. “All I’ve tried to do is protect what the PGA TOUR is and what the PGA TOUR stands for.”
It’s no surprise that McIlroy had no interest, but many believed he turned down a massive nine-figure offer.

James Harden is reportedly “torn” between remaining with the 76ers or returning to the Rockets for the 2023–24 NBA season, according to The Athletic’s Shams Charania.
Harden, who is expected to decline his $35.6 player option to become an unrestricted free agent this summer according to Bleacher Report’s Chris Haynes, is seeking a new four-year deal.
In May, Keith Pompey of The Philadelphia Inquirer reported that many around the league believe Harden would return to Houston when the NBA free agency period begins.
